Pages stolen, revenge, will this work?

I never add people as admins unless they are paying me for the page haha..

I only have a few accounts spread on different ips/ email servers so if one account goes down i have back up..

As i made the mistake by having 1 admin and lost a shit load of high fan pages...

I could then post the links here, start deleting them and take them down one by one until he gives them back.

Im sure you read the rules about posting links. Who's to say these are your pages or not?
Just learn from your mistake and move on

You could submit his mobile number to a bunch of different sites and offers, but I would just consider this a tough lesson learned. Do not make the same mistake again.

on a funnier note, submitting his mobile number to all those gay mags out there requesting subscription would be good, he would be receiving calls all day with gay mag subscription offers. ask him for your pages back after this, if he doesn't, submit his number to all those gay dating sites, he will get more calls than from the mags. if he still doesn't give your pages back, put his address on gay mag sites and they would start sending free samples, im sure he would give up ultimately

Yea, the OP could really do some damage if he wants revenge bad enough.

"submitting his mobile number to all those gay mags out there requesting subscription would be good" - That made me laugh - though it wouldn't have quite the same effect since he is actually gay!!

"Im sure you read the rules about posting links. Who's to say these are your pages or not?
Just learn from your mistake and move on" That's why I was asking instead of just posting them here - That's also why I said that I would be willing to show as much evidence as I could possibly find to a mod to show that they are my pages.

I'm going to talk to him today, see whether he would be willing to negotiate, afterall, the pages aren't worth anything to him if they are all deleted!

Thanks for all the responses!

EDIT: Also, does anyone know why Facebook have made the change to allow new administrators to kick the original? Surely all it does is help people sell them and scam others!

Revenge is easy, but its also pathetic. If you can't get the pages back just move on and don't be stupid in the future.

Wow, wasn't expecting that one. Are you being serious? :lmao:

I am completely serious! The word gay is even in his Facebook username!!

"Don't be stupid in the future" - Dude, this guy worked wonders on a little 5k page that I made him admin of, so I made him admin of my others - I thought I was safe since you never used to be able to delete the original creator! If I'd known that he could delete me any time he wanted then I'd have removed him straight away!

hopefully he will come around after you talk to him. Otherwise go the gayway and can't you just click on the 'report' button or something for spam and get his page removed that way?

I am pretty appalled by the fact that the original admin can now be removed as well. It was just a few days ago that I was looking for an answer to this question and I was told no, that the original creator could not be removed. It seems things have changed.

However, this can work in your favor if you want to get a certain WhiteHat account off of a page and instead attach the page to a disposable account that you can do your dirty work from. FB still might be able to link it back to the original creator though, I am not sure but I am willing to bet that they can.

Just take note that this is now possible when doing JVs from now on.

...
Well in that case you could subscribe him to a whole lot of Religious Right anti-gay propaganda newsletters, mags, groups etc.

I don't want to break the rules, so tell me if I am doing so!

Posting a bunch of Facebook page links here is definitely against the rules. Read the stickies in this section:

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/facebook/197503-outing-posting-facebook-fan-group-page-urls-will-result-ban.html

Not a good plan. ;)

Although they may be your pages, posting links on here will most likely get you banned - And it is against the rules.

Why not post dirty images/video on his pages and click report? I heard this works but i suppose it just gets the account banned..

LOL, that is another option.

I think this would work as well. If you are going to do it, just make sure you upload the pics and hit report from a disposable account. First things first, however, can fans freely upload images to the page(s)?

Yeah it would have to be an account you dont need as there is a high chance it will get banned.

Some pages allow, although there is a setting to refrain fans from posting images.

Thanks to the 'Moderators in training'! I'm glad I asked now!

@GreyWolf - Love it!

Thanks to the people who suggested the adult pics thing - I'll give that a go on the smallest page now!

He's operating from two accounts so I guess that he is sharing the pages between the two in the hope that at least one account survives - I have told him that if he doesn't reply then I will go out of my way to try and have the pages removed. He is giving me the silence treatment at the moment! (I can see that he is online - he is updating MY pages (Sports related) about the world cup as we speak!

Has there been a message from Facebook about their decision to allow admins to delete the creator? I am intrigued as to why on earth they changed it!

I'll buy a disposable account now! I am certain that I will not be hearing from him anytime soon!

EDIT: If anyone wants to offer me a PVA then I'd love to buy one off you at a good price :)

If he is only operating these pages from two accounts, your job shouldn't be that hard. Does he have the feature enabled on the page for any fan to upload photos? If so, go with that method (on a disposable account). If not, if the pages are against FB's TOS, just report them from multiple accounts using different IPs.

If you are really dying for revenge, PM me the links to the pages and I can offer up some better advice once I see them.

I would just let it go and focus your energy on making money.
And let Karma take its course.

This is what I suggest as well. However if he really wants to get revenge, I see no harm in giving him tips as long as it doesn't break any rules on this forum.
