Unfortunately, they are everywhere, so that is why people should pm a member here first and then go to whatever messaging system they have.

Would you msg the seller on telegram, when facebook market messaging system is perfectly usable?
99 outta 100 chances you wouldn't
and I don't see why BHW would be any different.
that 1% is when you absolute want that table and cannot get it anywhere else and you have lost all reason

As far as I can guess there is only one reason for this, I have a lot of customers running very black who don't want to leave a record with BHW, preferring to use TG and delete chats whenever they want.
But to be honest it's necessary to at least confirm the correct contact details of the other person before you start trading.
A lot of people start the transaction directly without checking the identity of the seller, which is bad for both the seller and the buyer.

Having a second contact details is fine.
But let me ask you this then.
When you talk in Telegram, are you using Secret Chat to communicate?
If not, your chats ain't encrypted, doesn't matter the platform, you can assume that it can be public knowledge. (Assuming neither parties have deliberately leaked it).
Plus, let's be real, i am willing to wager majority of the sellers choose to go skype/telegram is cuz they are lazy, and want to keep all communication in 1 spot rather than to keep conversations private.

I get it, very few customers ask for them. So far only one client has used it, resulting in me only being able to read he messages on my mobile phone.
Haha, yeah, that's part of it,
I promoted whatsApp, telegram, skype at the same time. but the actual whatsApp was banned by china and I can't log in anymore.
Fewer people use skype to find me, more job seekers, sexual harassers (yes, I used adelina's picture before).
Now 99% of my clients are on TG. I can't part with it, I'm a businessman, but I also have to bear the brunt of what copycats and scammers bring to my team.
