Anyone has some conrete affiliate programs or websites we could promote as an adult online dating site?

There are many affiliate programs you could promote on your adult dating site. Some of these programs could include:

1.) Penis Enlargers (( more niche affiliate program))

2.) Sex Toys (( eden fantasys ))

3.) free membership on adult dating site ((adult cash dot com))

4.) phone sex (( phone revenue dot com

Hope this helps!!

Yes I know, but we talked to a lawyer about this issue and he gave us the advise to not do it, since it could be considered as fraud.

You should dump that lawyer asap. A good lawyer finds you solution to a possible problem so that you can make more money and he can deserve his paycheck. That's why they are there for. He's not there to read you the laws. Everybody knows those laws. If he's not gonna come up with solutions then what is he good for? I would dump that money sucking vampire right away if i were you.

There's very little info about your business structure. What do you mean by saying that you want to make more than 40k a month? You have to be more specific so that people can give you more accurate information and suggestions. We can't know what's on your mind.

For instance: Do you want to make more money by increasing your sign ups? Or do you want to increase your earnings by monetizing your site? Or both?

Right now, it's more like a hit and miss because people don't know what you want to do to achieve the desired result. If you can be more specific, i'm sure we can be more helpful to you.

1 key thing would be to provide some sort of trial.
give the end user an example of the service they would be payinf for.
does not have to be free. provide a 1 week trial for 2.99 or 4.99 for a 20 - 30/month service.

2 things to do 1 let them know that it will automatically convert to a recurring billing automatically if not cancelled.

2nd since you are feeding a lot of leads to AFF join them in a couple different capacities and learn what they do. If you are interested in proper (most beneficial) ways of doing this pm and we can look at this in greater detail and "grow" from there

So do you actually own this site yourself?
Have any employees and/or partners?
Yes I do own the domain and a big chunk of the shares that's behind the company. I do have 2 business partners, one is responsible for the software and running the service and the other one is responsible for customer complaints etc.

Look in all honesty your on blackhat world... 99% of any advice you will receive your lawyer would tell you not to do.
It comes down to a fine line between illegal and blackhat.
I never thought about that, but that's true and I'm somewhat scared that we might cross that line and then we are in trouble. I mean it's something different if one individual does some blackhatting, but if we have a small-middle company with people employed it's something different. You become much easier a target to the feds...

For example, you couldnt do yourself or hire someone else paid by the company, to send messages to your male members. However, they have no say as to what you spend your personal post-taxed income on, and have no right/reason to ask. So "hypothetically" you (personally) could pay someone/people to create fake female accounts in order to send messages to your male members to encourage them to sign up so they can reply.
Interesting Idea, we will discuss that with our lawyer.

Oh and thats also assuming you are a registered company with limited liability?
Yep, so we also have to pay taxes :(

Another thing to think about it starting up your own affiliate/referral scheme (directly by you not via someone else) - whereby you need a way to track it, but allow marketers to not only bring in new members, but ALSO convert existing free members to paying ones.
That way you can probably get BHatter's here to do the dirty work for you and your company remains completely safeguarded by using a 'legitimate' scheme. The only thing you will have to do, is have a process in place for complaints/abuse reports.
We already did that and are testing it in the next few weeks. We hope it works out...

Thanks a lot for your considerations!

I believe he means " Make sure that the price your paying for each lead does not cost too much money for you. For example, if an affiliate gets 1 lead for you and that lead is $3.00 for a free sign up, make sure that its a good lead and it will convert. Cause you will lose money if your paying for $3.00 leads and they are not converting well.
Do I understand you correctly that there are actually websites out there that pay you 3$ for every free sign up??? 2.5k new user every day would be 7.5k USD!!!

With AFF we only get paid for a lead that converts into a paid membership. Has anybody an Idea of how many of these 75k new user I send to AFF every month should convert?

Make sure you can afford this money for each lead and you still are profiting very well. If your not getting enough free sign ups that convert, then you will need to decide if you want to keep the affiliate a part of your team.
We don't pay any money for these new user and the traffic, all the traffic is organic. We also don't send out emails on a regular basis to our user.

Usually affiliate managers will use a percentage. For example, the affiliates free sign ups will need to convert no less than 25% of the time. If it gets less than that, than something might be wrong and the affiliate might be promoting your site in a bad way. Many affiliates promote dating sites all kinds of ways. These different kinds of ways can effect if the free sign up will register as a paid member or not. They may not convert well if they are tricked to sign up.
Isn't it normal that less than 25% of these leads do not convert? Do you mean 25% of these members we send to AFF do not activate their account?

We just want to get more ideas of how to make more money of all the traffic we get, because we are pretty sure that 1.3k USD a day is little for 35k visits a day and 3k new user every day. We want to have more revenue streams than just the one where male members sign up for a membership which costs between 10$-120$.

For instance: Do you want to make more money by increasing your sign ups? Or do you want to increase your earnings by monetizing your site? Or both?
Every idea about how to make more money with an adult online dating site is welcome ;)

That's one thing we will try out.

1. watch how your competitors are doing, signup every damn dating websites similar to your niche and see what they offer, how they operate and as a member yourself, ask yourself if you will pay for their services. You are now in the role of a business operator/owner and am here asking questions requesting for ideas but have you put yourself in the shoe of a single guy looking for love and what sort of needs/feature he would need?

2. you should think of starting a business development department and start employing people experienced in this line/field to help you expand, juggling a business between 3 business partners isn't going to improve but wear you out.

3. You never reveal your URL so I presume you only provide very basic features/support and hope people will turn into paid subscribers. Look around what the top dating sites provide and innovate to come up with better ideas because it is stale that everyone seems to offer the same shit.

4. There are so many dating sites out there already so if yours is not the best one, why would people pay to use your service? You should be providing what others doesn't have or venture into specific niche not common in the market.

Interesting Idea, we will discuss that with our lawyer.

I dont think you understand... I can tell you right now your lawyer will say no you cant do that.

You have to realize your lawyer would get in a lot more trouble than you for giving out this type of advice, they are very heavily regulated/monitored and must adhere to a very strict ethical code of practice. If it became an issue, in the best case scenario they would loose their license to practice and at worse, could very well face fines and a short stint in jail to make an example of them.
The only way you could get an honest answer is if you had a relative/friend lawyer who spoke about a 'hypothetical situation' completely off the record and that they could trust you 100% that it would never, ever get repeated no matter what the circumstance.

So all-in-all your best option would be to run your own affiliate program, which also allows current free members to be converted and promote it/JV it on here... For you its 100% legit although you 'know' (but dont admit) that blackhatters are using otherwise questionable methods to earn your commission.

Sent you a PM. I've been dealing with dating for a while and can get you better rates than what's advertised. $40k a month for those numbers is low.

You need to convert the people who don't have the cash to send messages or aren't willing to put cash online.

Put an option under your PAY Buttons.

Figure out what you want to say "_______" Something about Limited Time: FREE Credits or something..

Once the user clicks thelink have it open a CPA Gateway explaining in order to get the free credits to message others they must fill out a Survey..

Once the user fills out one of your surveys they get credited X messages.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. The problem is I don't know anybody in real life who could help me out. So if anybody here is interested in work with us, helping us to grow the business for an monthly wage if would be glad if you'd send me a pm.

That's exactly what we are working on. But it's hard to compete in a field with so many other companies that probably have better offers...

That's a very interesting Idea! We will think about that. How much should I expect getting for that lead? Wouldn't it be better if I just cross sale all the new user to one of the CPA networks? Which one should I consider?

Better yet use adult access now, you can get like $5 a pop for people completing a survey and the gateway is already designed for you.

I'm very new here but I'm not new to doing business online and I started in the dating niche.
1. I'd suggest that this isn't the right forum for what you want. The big affiliate marketing forums have very good affiliate managers posting there and I'd definitely pick their brains if I were you. Some of them specialise in dating and adult sites and can act as business development managers. Try http://www.abestweb.com/ - they've been around forever and the top affiliate managers all post there.
2. I agree with whoever said to sign up for all your competitors' sites and see how you can improve on what they're doing. Also with considering niching down to target specific groups and selling ad space. With that number of eyeballs you could increase your income by a minimum of 25% just through selling ad space.
3. There is no way AFF should be sending out mails to your subscribers! That list is GOLD-DUST and you need to keep control of it. Either YOU send out the emails promoting AFF (and other relevant products) with your affiliate link or AFF pays you for every name upfront (that's Pay Per Lead from the other side). As it stands, they're in a no-lose situation and you're taking all the risk. Personally I'd keep the names and employ a copywriter to produce your emails. With a list that size you can earn $40k per mailing with the right offer.

Hope that helps :)

If you make your own CPA gateways you will get paid depending on your Affiliate you can promote any CPA offer you want once you make your own gateway. I would direct them to non adult offers so it does not lead them away from your site in the future. I do not think the higher paying CPA Gateway companies pay for adult traffic you are better off making your own plenty of people on here who could help you code it, seek advice from some JR Vips or do the smart thing and pay an Executive VP for the work.. any Exucutive VP on here is worth whatever amount of money you give them on this forum because they are the Elites of the elite & are the ones making the real money on this forum.

Thanks for your advice. I will take a look at this affiliate forum. As I said banners are the thing we are going to try later, because we don't like the idea of our site getting messed up by banners and killing the whole user experience.

Do you really think I shouldn't send them? I don't think they would pay me upfront for new user. It's not that I don't have these subscribers anymore after I cross-sold them to AFF. I still have all the emails and infos about the user. And I think I wouldn't be doing such a good job in promoting AFF as they can, because they are in the business for so long and tested everything ;)

If somebody is interesting in writing the emails for us and helping us with the whole affiliate marketing hit me up! Because that's the next thing we want to try to do...

be careful about who you let into your online circle many people on here are social engineers & will string you along to find your url then copy your idea.

Is every male member already receiving messages from female profiles that require payment to either read or reply to? (Split test hiding the message entirely vs restricting reply access) Fairly common practice for this industry.
No, no member is receiving any messages from fake female profiles. Isn't that typical fraud? I think the FBI would be knocking on my door in no time...
I don't think BreakAllTheClocks was talking about using fake profiles. If your site already has a well populated membership it wouldn't even be necessary.

Right now you say the male members have complete access to every function of the site except for sending emails. BreakAllTheClocks is suggesting that you try restricting access for reading the incoming messages as well.

In other words, let the free members know they have an email from a woman, but they can only see the profile details of who sent it, and maybe one line of the text. To see the complete message they would have to become a paid member. Or you could make it so that free members can read the first few emails they recieve and then have to pay to read any more after that.

If you have a large enough userbase there should be real women making first contact with men sometimes. It should be happening often enough that it's worth doing a trial. Do some split testing to see if this gets a better conversion for paid memberships than only requiring paid access when they want to send an email.
