this method is already very known, it is commonplace. it is good you are doing it, because it is a proven method

like i explained, the method is simple. make blog like you are doing, and make those list articles "5 ways make money quick" "27 ways make money at night"

it's all the same similar stuff, just how to make money online

this is how you grow the fastest and make money the fastest. because people browsing pinterest will see this on their feed

i really don't want to explain it so many times, so i hope others reading this will understand what i am saying. but basically, this niche is the one you want to promote and be in because it is so popular. EVERYONE wants to make money online. we all are here because we want to make money online. you are here because you want to make money online

so these pins on make money online in pinterest, guess what happens? people scroll and see it, and they want to make money online too. so this get the most click

but again, with the ad network. you NEED to get into an ad network to make money with this

this is VERY VERY important. you have to be careful though because like i said before, those mother fucker mediavine, they will make it extremely difficult to get in. super high standards, they want you to be perfect before they allow you in

ezoic i have heard it may be easier, not sure though

regardless, the point is still clear, you need to get into an ad network and start blasting ads to all your traffic, if you want to make money with this

people do not do this method to sell affiliate product. selling product/service with this pinterest method will not work, i am telling you. the way this method work is to blast the ads at people. that's the money maker, so get in an ad network

hiring VAs you can do, would just be another expense to take into consideration. need to find competent VAs that can write the content though, so there is that

as far as doing this compared to freelance. well, you have to understand, that pinterest can ass fuck you at any moment

pinterest is not your friend. those piece of shit dirt bag banned an ad account of mine one time, and they didn't give any explanation why even after i emailed them. they just deleted my account because some of my ads have been rejected

they can delete everything you own, delete all your account, take it all away. so you cannot say, you "own this", you don't

same thing can happen with upwork, piece of shit upwork can ass fuck freelancer accounts with 100k+ of earning history. just with snap of a finger, take it all away. ass fuck them just like that

with that being said, both this pinterest method and upwork can both be used to make money long term

getting account ass fucked along the way is just risk of internet marketing, which is why i personally have day job and would not quit it until i am more stable

and the reason i do upwork freelance right now is because i am try to build up client relationships

right now i work with 1 client i met on upwork and make about $200 per month. i know her personally, i have her cell phone number and we email regarding tasks, i am like her marketing guy lol..

i have day job because this is primary way i make money and support myself, i make 6 figures per year in day job. i am an american

and the reason i do upwork is because i like it. i have marketing freelance skills so that is where i choose to put my business efforts behind

this pinterest method works, but i cannot do everything

i am only one person. i have a lot on my plate bro

i prefer to spend my time doing the freelance and some other marketing project i dabble with here and there

you can still earn with this pinterest method. it is not simple by the way, as i explained before, you need to get into ad network. so there is some steps to it

I have about 10 posts. Not a lot actually. I am trying to speed up the process of creating content but I am also trying to make long enganging content as my avg session is too low.

I make 10 pins per articles and post 1 per week.

this way of making money is simple, i am sure most know about it by now

basically you make organic pins on pinterest, one pin a day as you are doing

the niche you should be in is "make money online"

you design pins that are lists. so all your pin should be something like this "7 ways to make money at home" "25 ways to make money at night", etc etc

all pin is supposed to be about making money

this niche get the most engagement and views

then, the most difficult part now, is you have to write the content

i am pretty sure if you use AI to write the content, you will run into problems later on. so you have to write all those content by yourself

next, you have to get into an ad network to monetize the views

the way you make money with this is loading as many ads as possible on your landing page, so whoever click gets shown a lot of ads. then you make money off this

the problem is you need to get accepted into google adsense or other ad networks that will pay you

i have no experience with this. it could be a big huge pain in the ass hole to get into google ad sense, or mediavine. i know some of those mother fcker ad networks are very very picky. the point is, it's not simple to get your site accepted even if you go through the work to build up your traffic

and if you cannot get accepted in an ad network, then you will not make money

the traffic you get will not be buyers, so you can not expect to sell product/service to them to make money

the only way you can make money off them is by showing them a bunch of ads, so getting into an ad network is essential to make any money with this method

ultimately, it depend what you want to invest your time in

me personally, this would be no different compared to me applying on upwork for freelance jobs. both posting pin daily and applying for job daily is the same grunt work

you basically put in the effort every day, and at some point you get some result down the line

i would say the main thing to look at with this method is make sure you can guarantee yourself entry into an ad network

if you cannot get into an ad network to put ads on your website and make money, then you are fucked

The "make money online" niche is not very big on Pinterest. It's hard to grow an account in it. I've researched it and there are accounts with several thousand pins that hardly even break the 1m monthly views. Even though the RPM would be amazing, it's not worth it, imo. You are right about the ad networks. The premium ones are pretty hard to get into. That's especially true if you don't already have an approved site with them. They look at you with different eyes. I was recently rejected by the main Mediavine program even though their smaller solution - Journey, accepted me.

Journey is still 100x times better than Adsense or Ezoic, so it's not all that bad.

I don't see this as get rich quick method, I see it as a business that I want to scale, and repeat in the future by managing 2-3 domains and flipping some of them.

That's exactly how we should treat Pinterest. It's important to focus on the bigger picture and not get too emotionally attached to a single account. Test, grow 1 account, move onto another, flip the main account, repeat. These are valuable assets that can potentially be sold for their 30x+ monthly earnings.

I have taken a break from pinning and managing the site, because I have been enjoying my summer. Pinterest is still growing though, so here are the stats for those interested:

Hello everyone! I created this journey thread in order to keep me accountable on this journey. My plan is growing a blog site and driving traffic through Pinterest and other traffic methods. I currently earn 700 euro per month as an employee in my country which is minimum wage. With 1k I will be comfortable, but with 2k I can also provide for my loved ones.

Background

I am F26, from Ukraine living in Greece. I have been into IM as long as I can remember. I started with sites like Neobux( PTC) , CPA, Fiverr, Instagram, dropshipping, affiliate marketing. I have tried it aaallll, but still nothing stuck. I earned some beer money here and there, but nothing serious. I gave up almost every project that I tried.

I spent hours and hours, lurking on BHW and other forums, reading methods, getting excited but not working on anything. Also living in a big tourist destination country, and seeing all the people having holidays, and you working all year round, it really takes a toll on you.

The idea

As I was scrolling through TikTok, a girl came up that claimed that she made 30k+ from her blog via driving traffic through Pinterest. She wasn't selling any course, or coaching lessons, just growing her brand. (Now she sells a course.) But she had her blog/ Pinterest account public so the numbers she claimed made sense.

I was soooo inspired. That was a lot of money. Even only 2k would be more than enough for me. Then, I thought that English is not my first language. But how hard can it be to write a blog post with the help of tools?

Execution

I started my blog on November and I told myself that I have a year to make any kind of money. I wrote some blog posts, posted some pins but I didn't give it my 100%. So, my traffic is low.

Money spent: 100$ (40$ domain and hosting, 60$ on 2 pinterest courses)

My niche is very friendly for Pinterest. Most pins I uploaded months before so it makes sense to see a drop in traffic.

In this journey, I will try to flip a failing blog to generating 2k per month. Let's see!

Next steps:

- I will be focusing now on Pinterest and try to schedule 5 pins per day. I used to do 1 per day. I will test it out to see how much traffic will change.
- I will try to upload more articles on the blog so that I can create more pins.
- I will find keywords from Pinterest Trends, and test seasonal keywords to see if they will perform better.

This time, I have the mindset that "I have to make it work. No matter what."

Small update:

What is my mental health now: (skip if not interested)
This past month I have been struggling with creating content and creating pins. I didn't upload any new article, and I stopped posting pins. I lost motivation and I have been spending my time partying and being under the influence. It is not excuse, but it is mostly the reason I made this journey, so you can keep me accountable and to have people to discuss it with.

I mean 2k per month, it is not that hard to reach. Even with 1k I would be happy. Right now I earn 713 euro per month, and it doesn't cover the basics. I go to the super market and cry because everything is so fucking expensive.

This journey will have its ups and downs as I feel it's normal when trying to create something of your own, especially if you struggle with motivation, laziness and depression. I struggle with all of them haha.

I will now try various methods of pushing myself to work on this project, like listening to focus music, going to a cafe with my laptop to work, creating to - do lists, maybe keeping a journal etc. Let me know if anyone is interested on that.

Also, I am interested in the concept of a motivational buddy that will help each other to track our progress and keep each other motivated. Send me a dm if anyone is interested on that!

About the project:

My outbound clicks have went to 1k per month which is not too bad with posting 1 pin per day. Now with the new Pinterest update, my clicks went to 0, but it is reasonable as I have stopped pinning.




Working on something that doesn't bring you income it's hard. So I decided I will now focus more on going to 10k in order to apply to Journey.

So next steps:

- Post at least 5 articles by the end of August and create 50 pins for them.
- Create some content for Pinterest to boost saves (without linking to a link)
- Create more enganging content by using smaller sentences, big bold text breaks, highlighting keywords etc. I want to increase my avg session duration
- Focus on affiliate income by recommending organically products and reapply to Amazon Associate Program

i think for this pinterest game if pinterest see that account is not making fresh pins consistently, then they will stop the traffic

so posting 1 new pin a day seem necessary, almost like part time job

I have been all over X, Facebook and BHW reading about this update and what does it even mean now? Should we wait out? Keep pinning normally?

Some accounts have recovered, and some not. Mine hasn't. When i open my pinterest feed (personal account) I see half pins + half ads. They are ruining the platform. I have heard mixed opinions.

Some say that it is just a spam filter and we will recover eventually, and some are giving up on the platform. I don't want to give up yet, but it is frustriating.

I changed my pin strategy and half of my pins are savable/inspiration without links attached to them because they are easier to boost impressions and saves. But still, not even a small increase in impressions.

I will give it 1 or 2 months before giving up on this journey. On the meantime, I will try to grow other sources of traffic and make it more diverse.

This journey is interesting, but I'm not sure if pinterest will bring sales to your website organically. I know that their ads work well but as far as organic, I'm not too sure and I've tested it before. You are working very hard so I wouldn't want to see you waste all this time with pinterest. Maybe start optimizing your website for Google SEO traffic. Build backlinks, write guest post. But, all the best on your journey.

The idea

As I was scrolling through TikTok, a girl came up that claimed that she made 30k+ from her blog via driving traffic through Pinterest. She wasn't selling any course, or coaching lessons, just growing her brand. (Now she sells a course.) But she had her blog/ Pinterest account public so the numbers she claimed made sense.

I was soooo inspired. That was a lot of money. Even only 2k would be more than enough for me. Then, I thought that English is not my first language. But how hard can it be to write a blog post with the help of tools?

Execution

I started my blog on November and I told myself that I have a year to make any kind of money. I wrote some blog posts, posted some pins but I didn't give it my 100%. So, my traffic is low.

Money spent: 100$ (40$ domain and hosting, 60$ on 2 pinterest courses)

My niche is very friendly for Pinterest. Most pins I uploaded months before so it makes sense to see a drop in traffic.

In this journey, I will try to flip a failing blog to generating 2k per month. Let's see!

Next steps:

- I will be focusing now on Pinterest and try to schedule 5 pins per day. I used to do 1 per day. I will test it out to see how much traffic will change.
- I will try to upload more articles on the blog so that I can create more pins.
- I will find keywords from Pinterest Trends, and test seasonal keywords to see if they will perform better.

This time, I have the mindset that "I have to make it work. No matter what."
