Back in 2019-2021, I had some success, but now I'm really stuck. I've tried testing a lot of products, but they've all failed. I don't know how to find a potential product to sell for dropshipping.

Become a guru, would probably pay you better. Lol. That's what a lot of these guys on Youtube do which make you think it's not dead. Are you doing organic, maybe you should try tiktok organic.

Maybe fool them with replicas. Just don't forget to change your location and be in random spots each time. ;)
You'll burn in hell on earth for that, but, money is so good. :D

See, that's why money is not a good goal. It makes you trick yourself and people, and then the whole reality, then you're like those "nike dudes' who sell piece of fabric worth $5 for $190.

One can learn how to make shoes and just sell that cause a quality, cheap sneaker is a big niche today.

You can make replicas cheaper and more quality than original. THE IRONY OF TRADEMARKS.

Facebook marketplace might do. Olx might do.
The challenge is getting the margins. So you can either produce something or do replicas. Or do resells of something from bulk to singular pieces.

Buy in one country, sell in another. I don't know how to do it though.

Ok... I got it.

You buy 10 things like pc parts, assemble into one and you got it. You have a margin and if you put a nice combo, for example you manage to build cars with custom looks etc, you got that nice edge.

In e-commerce you make money on such little things as time and product descriptions that make people buy. Or you sell via email / collect data via ppc instead of doing directly on listings.

The thing with auction like sites like ebay is that there are so many customers, that if you put a large number of products into your store, over time someone is gonna buy it. Just that it requires heavy amounts of automation. Probably can be done on AWS alone using Python plus you can find a drop shipping warehouses with an API.

Hi there, dropshipping can be challenging, especially when it feels like finding the right product is just a matter of luck sometimes. But you've had some successes between 2019 and 2021, which shows you're doing something right. Maybe now it's time to try a slightly different strategy.

My advice would be to focus on a specific niche rather than testing too many products. If you specialize in a certain niche, you'll gain deeper knowledge in that area and make more accurate product selections. Also, keeping an eye on trending products on social media might help. After all, figuring out what to sell sometimes requires a bit of trial and error, but when you find the right product, your efforts will pay off.

I hope you don't lose your motivation during this process. After all, we're all going through similar challenges, and sometimes, with a bit of patience and luck, things can fall into place.

Whenever I search for something on auctions and listings, I am usually bombarded with 1000s of low quality products.

For example, some gardening tools in my country. This niche is completely obliterated by low quality, not even on the internet but in general.

There is so little innovation and the experience of using those tools is terrible.

So find such a niche in your target country and import a correct product, then send that product to people and charge for doing a job.

Add some extra stuff like guides and engage them in some processes. Keep the customers for thyself.

That'll help you build a real business.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful advice! You’re right, dropshipping can be quite challenging, especially when it feels like finding the right product is a matter of luck. But your suggestion to focus on a specific niche and keep an eye on trending products is really helpful. I’ll definitely try applying these strategies and stay patient. I really appreciate your encouragement!

I would buy random shoes that look like sneakers from some cheap producer and put Nike tag on them. That'd increase value threefold and I would have a unique set of Nike shoes created by myself.

traffic is priority imo
then comes the product - well researched = better
Currently, I’m focusing 100% on Facebook Ads. Once I achieve some results, I might explore other channels to expand further.

Doing this violates the terms of payment gateways and advertising platforms, and sooner or later, you’ll get banned and have your money held.

Being involved in any marketing activity on a black hat forum, one has to understand multiple accounts from payment providers are useful. Quickly spend that money to buy more goods and repeat the process to exit 2 - 3 years later.

I feel you. Even after testing multiple products, it's tough to see a decent ROI these days. Losing confidence is real when you're just burning through cash.

Have a bigger vision than dropshipping. Do some tough research. Write down 1000 pages in Google Docs about what you think about the world. You will then have killer understanding.
