Using 4G Proxy to target TikTok US failed

Hello,

I recently started using a 4g proxy via Iphone SE 2020 and failed miserably, I don't know if it was due to poor setup or poor proxy,
I just used the Proxy within the WIFI Settings, TikTok didn't even allow me to log in or once I was logged in, (by turning the Proxy off) didn't let me scroll as there was no Internet connection.

everything else (browsing, other apps etc.) worked perfectly fine.

I read through a lot of posts on here recommending either 4G or a high quality residential proxy, 4G being the "safer" choice. I have no Idea why Tiktok would block this 4G proxy
I checked the proxy via websites beforehand everything was fine to me except for WebRTC Leak which I thought wouldn't matter and I also didn't know how to fix on an IPhone before interacting with the TikTok App

I'm here looking for some sort of guidance where my mistake has happened.

What could have possibly made TikTok block all my attempts to interact with the App through the proxy?

For some more Info
- This was a new burner phone properly reset and set up to be US
- used a new US SIM
- used a new US Apple ID verified even with a US number
- Bluetooth was off, Locational services were off,
- New clean e-mail (non g-mail)

So guys where are finding the issue with proxies/Vpn, on which step are you facing problem using VPN/proxies, like when creating account, shadowbans, reach or money withdrawl in crp
Personally I am using simple Nord VPN connection, I made a tiktok account, that is in Usa, I get usa content on fyp, I can use all features, none of my country content is shown, no shadowbans, I am getting reach as well, like first video 2k and then couple videos over 50k, only posted 21 videos so far.
I got a t series usa sim as well.
NO issue so far for me, did you guys faced issues on the money withdrawl part or before that, because I might face money withdrawl problem in future, but till now no issues at all.
Fyi, I am from India so tiktok is banned here, still working decent so far.

Can i ask what device you are using and if you know, which Operating System version you are on ?

I'd advise you to not update your IOS
I've gotten the Information that SIM only method on Iphones still works but wont work past IOS 16

No idea about android.

As kanemd already mentioned:

iPhones give signals to tiktok that you are using a proxy that was set up in wifi settings and does not give you access to the app.

This was my main Issue at first since I literally couldn't even make an account, nor login or swipe once logged in with manual proxy setup on IPHONE

also there was the issue that the features (mainly the rotation) didn't really work as advertised from my proxy provider (Which idk if it even matters that much).
That was a mobile 4g proxy.

Everything else with the proxy seemed fine, all the checks only showed up a WEB RTC Leak which shouldn't be an issue (educate me if i'm wrong please).

The reason why i switched to VPN instead of another proxy is to simply try out other methods i can currently.
I've already tried many many things and am just learning about every corner to eventually get an idea of what works and more importantly, why it works.

I will be trying proxies again with a different set up,
I also got the Information as stated in my last post, that only SIM Method past IOS 16+ will not work. Which means If i can buy a used Iphone with IOS16 or lower,
I can test this as well.

There are many more methods to test and I need to make sure the "method" i choose will be safe since I wont really gamble months of time and thousands of dollars on something that eventually will get me banned.

I'm happy the VPN shadowban hit quick as if it takes longer than that you'll still likely make no money as titkok holds ur CRP money in worst caes scenarios for 59 days.

use residential ip, and the most important part, either use a dummy sim card of usa for example, or remove the sim card and never put it back in - so tiktok relies only on your ip

I am permanently using VPN as tiktok is ban here, I dont even open my phone without a VPN hotspot, I have never connected the device to anything other than the USA VPN hotspot, and I am using a super cheap android with Android 14, personally I found every high range or even mid range devices have good data protection and sharing policies, so I found cheap androids best, I am using a mi phone, and for shadow ban, I warmed up the account for like 2 weeks (someones tip, works like charm, similar strategy is to wait posting till tiktok starts showing you ads, because you know they consider you a user now, warm up till then daily) before posting and warm the account daily, no shadow ban so far.

Tax info is currently my only problem, but I got a friend in USA, will bring a contract out to him, if he accepts, that will be it.

And my plan is to shift to residential proxy as soon as I start hitting CRP, to avoid wasting money beforehand or getting vpn tracked by tiktok.
Still gotta look into it.

I'm unsure about your plan of switching from VPN to residential proxies, I have friends in my group who haven't used VPN's or any unnatural tools and got shadowbanned just by uploading from a friend's Wifi.
So the IP change alone may be enough to shadowban your account, please be wary of that risk.

Regarding the Shadowban, my account likely is shadowbanned, 3 days in a row 0 views.
From my experience if this was a reach drop you should be able to post through it and eventually get views again,
If this is an actual shadow ban this will not happen.

I can't really explain why some accounts with VPN get shadowbanned and others won't, I was connected to the VPN 24/7 on a new device fully set to US+ US sim card.
I got OK reach on my first couple videos with avg 5k views. Then out of nowhere the "Shadowban"(which I'm assuming).

Only real reason is the Datacenter IP'S and TikTok realizing that. I haven't done anything else with the device really, I warmed it up for about 2 days.

I also am thinkíng that device actually might matter in what Information TikTok is able to receive from your device, obviously I have not tested this at all as I've been using the same SE 2020 for all my tests.

Yes the IP I used was a dedicated IP, I never switched and logically i doesn't make sense to switch so i'm really suprised that your account is still going

Yup it's weird you are facing so many problems and I don't, I am gonna buy a dedicated one tomorrow.

If you get a LLC set up lemme know, I will get mine as well when needed, will ask you for advice

It was a 4g HTTP proxy from a provider on this website, But i cant really evaluate the proxy itself as it never got working because of the previous things i mentioned.
I'll still just try providers until I find a good one I guess

I personally am confused which are considered 4g residential, because if I look at major companies, there are only two option rotating and static isp and only mobile proxies have 4g options, so which ones are callled "4g residential"?
