As long as Google has monopoly things will be shit, the more search engines there are the better it will be for all of us. Let's see how this one goes, Perplexity came out and didn't really do much for Google's market share. It's hard to beat, but definitely not impossible! Fingers crossed.

no wonder Bing is investing billions of dollars in OpenAi, so it might become possible eventually.

Bing + OpenAI + Ahrefs should join hands to launch a new search engine (instead of upgrading Bing). This combo had all the resources to start a search engine and they tried to do it individually so far without much success. Google badly needs a competitor.

Wow, if OpenAI really launches a search engine to compete with Google, it could shake things up! It's cool to see new players entering the game.

as google became so shitty at searching last years, some time not providing relevant results as in past.
so even now 20% of my queries, i think, i made with bing
if openai will develop a good alternative, i will switch to it
But if i think deeper, with such hype openai can develop and start in any niche, let's say in social media, if put there some creativity they combine everything with ai and make it better than everything is on market
