There's not really a lot of money in niches where 90% are kids aged <18 and the rest are mostly unemployed adults.

Speaking from experience. I gave gaming influencers a try some years ago and quickly found that the viewers/followers don't really have a lot of buying power.

I doubt so ? don't underestimate those <18. If they have rich parents their allowance is there. Now a days you see young kids already owning the latest iPhone. Obviously is their parents buy for them , minority maybe work part time to earn it on top saving some allowance from their parents.

Dr disrespect I bet earn dam a lot . I see his pay subscribers stay quite long in his channel . This is why I said before those play game but dam pro usually will do streaming to earn if play whole day not pro just for fun is kinda waste time.

I’m not familiar…. But what’s the reach of twitch as opposed to YouTube?

Many of the game streamers I see market largely on YouTube simply because of the large audience available which I assume equates to equal if not more revenue than twitch. Even if twitches PPS is higher.

1. Channel is for business guys to increase their income
2. Channel is about business and money psychology, not motivation bullshit

Yea , I sometimes random watching his stream but only for a while. I just wanna see how " creative " he is. His content is different in the sense he create it like " watching an action movie like that " The back drop he do also quite amazing. Than he will go into playing game. After the usual intro first. I feel he is good in marketing himself. Currently I see he got sell his own T shirt with his DrDisrespect Icon , image on it. Side note I read his profile before google on him what the heck is this Dr Disrespect. He do have a long history there.

I don't subscribe his stream or pay to be one. I only sometimes watch for fun for a while. I used to gaming but recently I totally quit. Partly I already don't have that interest to play games. Next also kinda wasting time if happen play till 2 hours or so. 2 hours I rather come BHW talk nonsense relax myself. I know gaming can relax your mind from work so call casual gaming but well , I just wanna quit.

I'm not really certain about the Polish markets, but regardless of that, I can be certain that this guy is banking a lot.
The views are at very good levels and the videos are very long. The guy surely does at least a thousand a month in ad revenue alone, which at that subscriber count is very good.
Business content is also the kind of niche where quality is a lot more worth than quantity (which is the opposite of most YT niches). It's a niche where the viewer is also pretty easy to convert to a paying customer since almost all business content is basically 'buyer intent' content --> They watch those videos because they want to learn something (e.g. easy to sell digital courses), opposed to content that is for entertainment value (e.g. gaming).

He's 100% doing very good money with digital products.

Last weekend I followed one of the YouTubers, the same guy has Twitch.

The game is unpopular, it has only 11,000 subscribers in my country. For comparison, the same game reaches 100,000 subscribers in English-speaking countries.

Out of curiosity, I asked him how much he earns from his YouTube and Twitch channels, where he has 1,050 subscribers paying $4.99 a month. He earns $16,000 a month from Twitch subscriptions and YouTube sponsorships.

Unpopular YouTuber, in a non-English-speaking country, poor subscription results on YouTube, average number of views on YouTube around 10,000 - 15,000 / video.

Still, he is making money on something that is non-obvious and inconspicuous.
As a normal observer, you would never expect a Youtuber with such stats to earn more than $100/month.

Because twitch... Thing seems profitable af, got my interest too. Funnily enough twitch streamers sometimes have yt channels too and they do fine but because of twitch, not youtube. You're on to something.

Yeah, go check Pokimane, one of highest earning streamers on the platform... From what I've seen no undressing/bikini streams (correct me if I'm wrong). Content isn't that high level either, last time I've seen her she was doing a declutter session and her fans told her what clothes to keep and what to throw away lol. Fuck, I'm interested.

The thing with twitch is, it seems to be different than other influencer platforms where you end up being dependent on these companies/sponsorships, twitch is more b2c + you have ad revenue as bonus + you can put up aff offers in your stream's title/on chatbot, etc. Don't try to measure twitch channel's earnings on number of subscribers - people gift subs (so 1 person subscribes more than once) and make donations on top of that. Go watch any popular streamer, you'll know what I mean (you can see people giving them money on their alerts). You can't just multiply the number of subscribers and get the correct amount. So here you have missing money in your calculations. @Lukmat

true and is not bad, imagine if you have external links for payments to avoid the cut from twitch or youtube, selling merc, they make money and it depends ini the country you live on that ammount of money could be enought for a month or get a confortable living not with luxuries this in the case of small content creators but they make money for real.

IT jobs same - women don't get technical roles, only non-technical ones while men code. In my previous city, with biggest tech school in the country and lots of software houses, I've seen only 2 female programmers in the whole city. All other women were in more 'social' roles.

I already complained in other threads - as a woman you can be wife or a prostitute, no other career choices. And then you guys are surprised women pretend to be men when they can (on forums, where they don't have to show their faces).

I thought women are just little bit smarter and don't push so hard to get these roles with absurdic responsibilities that never end.

I am male and think these roles are so hard that no woman would even consider to do that as that be equal to deep personal problems.

Women naturally won't want to lift something so heavy that their heart will pound so hard they'll barely breath.

Men of course are more exploited and that means they'll get the worst (hardest) roles.

This field is such a garbage in public space that I just write my own tech skipping all frameworks.

It's dominated by hyper inflated, arrogant, full of complex men who snort cocaine and pretend to be able to handle this useless complex shit well.

I rethink my life choices and one of the worst was trying to be like other guys. I want to be a woman. At least I would have a higher chance to shower as a Polish woman as Polish males never have this for these delicate things. They're so brave!

All is personal. You can find your stuff and make your own rules in life, just set them gently without thinking in terms of blame.
