Anyone quit gaming?

One does not simply quit gaming. It's better to just manage it. Play on the weekends. Play for fun.

Someone who plays 16 hours per day should take a break, but for a gamer gaming is for life, even if you don't play a few years, you'll return. So the key is to treat it like a hobby.

I think gaming would be great for retirement. Think about our grandparents, they feel lonely, they can't do much anymore, so they passively watch TV all day. Imagine if they were into gaming, no more loneliness and they'd be active, their mind would be engaged. Too bad they hate technology. But our generations will be able to game after retirement and be happy, gamers for life.

The older I become the less I play. Now I'm more focused on earning more money. I will usually play only on weekends for an hour or two and that's it.

guinness world record do show one grandpa gaming. He hold the record for the world oldest gamer. Well that is true but nevertheless there are many others stuffs for elderly do. Not entirely on just gaming or watch TV. In fact I feel elderly now don't feel lonely as quite a lot knows how to use computer surf net , this chit chat on forum etc . Even come Youtube , searching things they want to learn or curious watching it.

This is what I noticed. I can't like play whole day like last time in fact. After one hour or max 2 hours I naturally stop gaming. Just that I feel those one or two hours must well I research more on IM better.

I quit console gaming for the most part back when the PS5 was released. It wasn't just the shortage of them at the time, but it was Sony's inaction against three years of scalping that pushed me away.

I still play games on the PC. Sometimes, having an easy game to play in the background makes anything I'm working on more pleasant.

Well, yes, although not in the case I mentioned previously. I meant I sometimes play one of those "second monitor" passive type of games where I can pop in, set something to run, and come back an hour later to check back on it.

what type of games ? Some like those Mobile games you farm once reach max have to wait like few hours than can farm again.

when I spent 12 hours playing a game, when I stopped, I felt the same when I fucked an ugly woman just for some quick dopamine...then, after doing that and wasting your time you realize that you wasted a whole day doing something useless

Emulators, the snes, and sega classics are where it is at man, maybe some ps1, dreamcast games... Like live 10 years in the past with gaming so its always bug free and everyone else worked out if it was worth playing.

We are not e gamers, we do not need to be the bleeding edge of gaming, we are the bleeding edge of black hatting... which is a game in its own right granted but... this one makes money $.$
