how to appear on Google News?

You don't need to apply anywhere.

The blog should have a lot of words News, and find expired domains with former news, buy them up, run an automatic parser on them and the first news on each put your news from the blog. As soon as you put these news, immediately index them through indexing services, or by sending Google's mobile bot.

Your site will immediately start showing up in Google news, and it will never be in any publishers' centers and other nonsense. Have a good quality content and submit it in Google News Publishing Centre. It will get indexed if it meets the GPC guidelines. It takes time. Stay Calm!
 
1. Publish good amount of content that is timely, original, and informative.
2. Make sure your website meets technical requirements, such as having a clean structure, being mobile-friendly, and loading quickly.
3. Apply through the Google Publisher Center by verifying your site ownership, providing site details, and submitting it for review.
4. Publish new articles regularly to keep your content fresh.
5. Optimize your content for SEO with relevant keywords and a sitemap.
6. Uphold high editorial standards in your writing and fact-checking.

Even if you do all this and use the Publisher Center, it doesn't mean you'll definitely be on Google News. Google uses its own algorithms to decide what shows up, and a lot depends on what users are into. Keep at it, though, and good luck!

Domains should have a good ranking. After rebuilding and running a news feed on them, track how many bots visit that site. Good numbers are 10,000 per hour, or periodically 1,000 per minute, every 10 minutes.
Anything less is a bad site, it won't work well for your purposes.

You don't have to submit a request in the Publisher center.
 
There is no process to apply for goggle news. google automatically accept new sites in news and best way if you don't have patience then buy google news old edition domain and work on them it will best for now.

This is what you have to do. And even with this, it's almost impossible to be approved nowadays.
All the people who say 'submit your website to the Google Publisher Center' are wrong. It doesn't change anything, and it doesn't help to be approved in Google News.
 
You should create High quality content and Submit your site to Google News Publisher. Then Google review your site and update the status to some of days.
 
Firstly you must make sure your content is original, high quality, and follows Google guidelines. And submit your blog through Google Publisher Center. Just ensure your site is mobile friendly and loads quickly. Also, update your blog regularly and use clear meta tags that can also help get it accepted.

@GoogSEO is right. Stop wasting time to listen "Google News approval" scammers. It's not possible to approve a website in Google News since 2019.
