Well, to each his own, but I don't think I could deal with a method that involves blatantly lying to someone just to get them to spend money. Not to mention singling out poor, lonely suckers and getting their hopes up just to swindle them out of a few bucks then toss them on the scrap heap.

Sure it works. It's one of the quickest ways for someone to get started making money online. I don't do any actual ewhoring myself, but a lot of profile pages I create are female, and I do as the OP suggests and make them believable. I use the profiles mostly for posting backlinks on and to promote my newest websites and such.

If you do as the OP suggests and use the profiles to email, pm, and im chat with guys you can definately get some of them to sign up for your cpa offers. For the people that think it's just too weird, you just have to remember it's just acting. It's not that much different than a screenwriter that write scripts for female actresses in tv commercials. It's not like you're going to actually go out and meet someone. You're just typing an improv script for an audience of one.

It could really work good with you and your gf sitting at the pc together cause she could think of what she would type from a girls perspective, and you can tell her what the guy really wants to hear based on your perspective as a guy. Who knows, it might even get her hot and then you're right there to take care of it when she logs off. lol.

edit - When this thread was first started MySpace was still the social networking leader with FB still gaining a lot of ground. That's why the OP used that in his original post. Now Facebook is the leader, so you probably want to use it instead of MySpace. Actually MySpace isn't dead though, especially for this type of one-to-one marketing. If you have the time, creating accounts on both would be a good idea. And don't forget IM with yahoo, aim, msn, etc.
