10 New Moderators Wanted

You did your job, and im glad we all have you onboard on this forum.

Rules is rules, and yes im sorry for what i did that day. As i said in PM.
You learn by your mistakes. And that is important for everyone to know.

If i knewed my posts were incorrect, i should definately change it right away.
But somehow, i maybe have an unlucky day that day? :/

We shall all build up this community for what we want it to be for everyone to come back here, and to be active.
Is not a most, but as stated before, i love beeing here, and love helping.
Therefore i signed up as a MOD.
Like you said Wiz, you beeing here alot of time, probably more than me.
And i want as you, help out this community to be better than ever.

I wonder what the new mods will be mainly responsible for. At the moment there's 2 (i think) dedicated download mods. Hopefully these other mods will be able to ban hammer some of the spam, unnecessary news post (man kills 3 people...what do you think?) and a whole lot of other stupid crap that gets posted.

So far I think the people mentioned above are certainly qualified for the position, good shares, reports spam and rule breaking and offers genuinely helpful advice.

P.S. When you guys become mods perhaps you could implement a noob corner for people like me to ask annoying questions without it bothering other members and blocking higher quality posts.

there are like 4 or 5 download moderators at the moment, wiz and peter2002 are the ones that post the most but blackhit is around a bit and the others mainly edit and remove posts from what i can tell

I have applied a couple times, but after reading Wiz's post I realized I am not always level headed, and do get emotional occasionally. Therefor I am not seeing Mod in my title anytime soon

One thing that is important to know is that, to be a Moderator, one needs to keep a level head and act in an objective way.

Wiz, this is good information to know, but you have to admit some stability and level headedness has come back into the forum in the past few months, but for a while there, people were very frustrated (myself included) about changes in IM and noobs coming in here and asking to be spoonfed then trashing us and braggers barking about illegal methods and true scams they are running.

Many a senior member has been in a flame war in the last few months and probably didn't want to be.

I still think ericcson's a good guy, hope he wins, but as a 2nd choice G00B3R would be it. My evidence is that he was recently called a scammer by someone over his link service which there was no evidence of, but instead of losing it, he calmly addressed the issue. Very professional. Anyone else would have been blasting the accuser.

To be honest it would be nice to see a few more mods relatively sharpish just to help keep the place clean. Also the shitlist seems to have been ignored this last week, whereas sometimes Zen and Hex are all over it.

And of course it would be nice if the BST could open up again for new business.

I know the current staff are clearly overworked for the amount that needs doing, so good luck everyone whose applied to help out. Hopefully some people they approve of can start the modding internship soon.

I don't have either the qualifications or the posts to apply. But I think there should be a moderator dealing solely with all the flaming and shit like that
This community is becoming very ill- mannered and the amount of threads that offer nothing but flaming and name calling has got way out of hand.
It seems to me once one person flames somebody it starts a band wagon effect. and because of this more arseholes are getting away with all the shit
Anyway it will be great if we can get the forum back to what it was.

Not me. I try hard to de-addict myself from forums...I'm on my way to recovery...I went from 40 posts/day on several forums to less than 1/day...I'll be cured soon and begin to get a life soon...I was a chat addict in the 90's as well...I didn't touch a chat room for 10 years now
