From my SERP studies over the past few years I've always found one thing to be true. High pagerank and/or authority domains/links combined with proper keyword rich titles on the urls who host your link will move your ranking up in a short period of time.

Low quality spam links on the other hand can do either of these things:

a) Get your site banned and deindexed
b) Get your site sandboxed and then ranked
c) Give your site no or very little change in the serps

So from this figure the best xrumer strategy would either be:

a) scraping high pr urls (actual urls, not just domains) and replying to them with your link, very cautiously so it doesn't get deleted.
b) making some keyword optimized parasite host on authoritative domains and spamming the living hell out of those
c) posting a general post without a link and edit it later

how much time would you guys say a person needs to invest to really learn how to use xrumer properly?

also, do you guys use it for your long term sites, or only for sites that you want to try to monetize today and dump tomorrow?

Its all about getting your links indexed. If 95% of your links are NOT indexed you will be sandboxed 100%./QUOTE]

Could you enlighten that a little more?

I mean if links are not indexed then they tend not to be known to G, right?

so out of all the people selling Xrumer blasts who is the best out of all of them, i have tested 2 people so far and im not happy with any of them resulting in less then 30 backlinks each

Yeah exactly. That statement is a little vague.

How can a site get sandboxed for links that are not indexed and hence most likely not known to google?

Look, Google WILL see most the links, but not index them totally (cache them)

If 95% of your links are on non-cached pages you will have a problem.

Whats the point to buy a tool, and no real info how to use?
Don t think is ok just "search, info is all over".All the details should came with the tool,on the tool price. If you need to reseach 4-5 hours per day to be able to use.....better manual!
I can,and all of as can just compile a tool, sell it for 250$,when no result came, its buyer fault, have no ideas how to use it!!

Well you have to take that into account when buying xrumer. You will get a tool that is being updated for free for you for the rest of its life.

BUT you won't get support on how to use it, you won't get answered any seo questions you might have and you will not get a good manual.

Basically the tool is A+ and support is a E-. That's how things roll at botmaster and that won't change.

Correct. I see this problem mostly with profile links no? Blog comments and posts should get indexed anyway (most of them) and letting google discover them on its own should be a better thing to do. But if you have profile links, you should get them indexed.

Well I might as well purchase xR unleashed an see if its at all worth the harddrive space. xRumer is a dangerous tool, so learning to use it properly is paramount.

bobblehat why not sell your Xrumer license say for the half price, if it's not giving you the result you want.

First of all - I would not blast my main site. Blast other sites that you can risk, and link to your main site from there.

hmm not so sure about that,

1) I don't think all profile links are directly accessible w/o forum login: those cannot be found by G
2) G is not thaat quick, especially if it is a low pr-site. I think I could give proof for that for my many low-pr sites :)
And profile links tend to dissapear after a while, if there was no user activity

so yes, it makes sense to get them indexed, but I don't think you get a penalty for "non-indexed backlinks"

1) Some are indexed even if they don't appear public. Those board who have the google bot user account can do that.

2) That's right, many times profiles get deindexed.

It would be hard to judge whether or not you could get a small penalty for non-indexed backlinks, but it certainly could be. I would say that it's more possible you get a penalty if your links were indexed and THEN deindexed as opposed to non-indexed links.

@bobblehat - The reason why they have "only" 256 links is because they are promoting their promoters. Try to look at the backlink structure of these 256 links and I'm sure you'll see hundreds/thousands of spammy links pointing to them.

That's how the pros do it. You maintain a natural looking profile and promote your promoters. Google's current algorithm favors authority/old sites, so what you do is get a link on a site like that, then promote that link with xrumer. Don't blast your site directly.

Imagine there are say 50 sites in the top 1000 serps ranking for your keyword -- ALL linking to you. Now that is power. ;)

TheWicker is right.

Its just a simple algoritm for google to devalue your site. If all your backlinks reside on pages that dont have backlinks themselves = you will have a problem. Its just not natural.

Build links to your links to your links, this is the trick.

This is the only way to do it, i have used a ring architecture for years

Black Site - > Grey Sites -> Green Site

A tool is just a tool, the way you use it shows what level your at. Xrumer is a tool for skilled BH'ers, so its no wonder alot of noobs are having problems with it
