I use custom script with grease monkey and it let you add ten time more people and fly way under the twitter radar. It is a little harder to target but i have bought different twitter programs and the script by far works the best.

Take a look into twitter scripts you might be surprised.

I'm with bizminder on this one, I just bought Tweet Adder. It's reasonably priced, is simple and easy to use. It's available for both Windoze and Mac OSX.

Hummingbird looks like it also has a lot of promise, but it appears to be too flashy and it runs on Adobe Air which, although makes it cross-platform, can mess with your systems performance big time. Plus their free trial is way too limited.
