BHW is quieter/calmer these days

I don't know if you noticed this. Forum is quieter than in the summer months. Is it because it's the last month of the year or is everyone too busy? Months ago, even making money section would quickly fall to page 2. YouTube section was also more active. What's everyone doing?

drugs...

It's not just the forum: it's been quiet everywhere for 10 days.
So, no, you're not the one who's fooling yourself.

GO TO NORMAL JOB. Why do you try to make money off the internet?! This is not normal!

I guess you didn't see me quoting someone or see the question mark. I was questioning why that member thought internet marketing was not real. I personally am more than familiar with internet marking and see it as a real job in the real world, I also make a good living in the "real world" in the sense that the other member meant it. I don't like to brag about my income online or offline, but I easily could!

Maybe understand a comment before quoting and commenting on it ;)

You can check out threads started in previous years. Especially in the making money and YouTube sections, many threads were started in a very short time, methods were constantly shared and activity was higher. There is no need to go back that far, even at the beginning of this year, the same was true, although not as much as in previous years. Actually, as a member of 15 years you should have known this better.

Internet marketing is not real?
I didn't say that making money online wasn't real. I mentioned that having a normal 9-5 job and working online are different.

For me whole social media is like this, traffic and sales dropped.

World population is 8 billion, and such an incredible population has caused the death of making money methods.

And increased demand for water and food and software engineering courses and university curicullums.

Although all methods reach saturation, working in a software company or a company on digital marketing is exception. Someone who works online has no time to socialize. You may need to do work at any time. A person who works a 9-5 job has certain working hours and has free time and holidays.

Not sure i notice any significant difference. The number of members online and the number of posts seem close to what's usual. Any decrease in activity from the normal may stem from being close to the holiday

I will say that less working methods were shared in last one year. But the way everything gets saturated and killed in few days now, I expect this to only reduce here in future also.

Activity is there may be more than earlier year. There are many other uses to this forum except methods. Like if you are running ads on Facebook and face some unique problem and ask about it here, you can get a solution for free here in minutes. Many other use cases like you can document your new project as a journey and improve the service based on responses on other members.

Another very good use is to sell services here. There are some here who make millions from their BST but on average if you have a BST, I can assure you that there will always be food on table for your family. Now this opportunity is provided to hundreds of members here for very less cost. What more you want from this forum?

maybe everyone is busy with end up 2023 and make plan for 2024...
Most people spend their time watching videos on YouTube, Instagram and Tiktok. Also some well-endowed BHW guys left the forum. Even the sharing of making money methods has decreased compared to previous periods.

Yeah your right, I guess it's that time of the year again

You can bring a change to this. Set an example for others.
You already confirmed my exact post in your post above, even before me. Do you think this is the whole problem?

You and me and perhaps many other are aware of the problem. But what matters is will we do something about it on our part or just keep crying about it.

Personally, I will be here even if no one shares any method here ever in future. The forum is still useful to me in number of ways some of which I mentioned in my previous reply.

In terms of traffic from search engines, it's trending down from a nice spike last year. See SEMRush traffic profile below

NOTE: BHW gets way more than 143K traffic per month. Based on my experience with my own sites, you should 3x to 10x the reported traffic figure to get the ACTUAL traffic volume.

I think there's a natural trend down anyway from post corvid home workers who were looking for some side income on BHW.
The holidays I don't think effects that many hard core BHW members as most are sociopaths, that lack any human emotions :)
I bet if you took a poll there's a higher percentage of single blokes living with their parents than 4tran.. lol

Maybe, maybe not. Most pseudo 9 to 5 programmers I know have unpaid extra hours, mandatory social events after work, etc, etc. They don't even have a real employment contract but b2b contract (so they're registered as small business) and are still expected to come over physically to office and sit there for hours. People from 'worse' professions I know don't have employment contract either and are always at work too. So I'd say 9 to 5 being the easy route is a myth.
