great clients:

- know what they want
- want to work with you specifically
- get value from the work you do for them
- can afford to pay for said value delivered.

I'm sure you've seen this one. It's funny because it's true:

$500 Client:
“I need results and you need to bring them, I am entrusting you with our livelihood and lives”

$5,000 Client:
“Money sent, thanks”

ps: this was actually copied from a newsletter I got today from SPP.

experienced this yesterday. even he said some hurtful words while I just wished him good luck:)
I had to argue with 2 people today and i gave them a full refund even after their order was 80% done as they wanted multiple reports and kept saying I pay for this bla bla bla. Their orders were less than 45 USD each. They wasted 4 hours of my time combined in asking 1001 questions.

The ones that spend 4-10k have 0 questions. They know what they are looking for. Also very very understanding if things go south, don't blame anyone for their issues. They stand with you while you put down fire and not create another fire (like the toxic ones)

For example there are very good resellers who manage to sell things, handle their customers and are very understanding, definitely know what they are doing.

There are other resellers who just constantly complain blame everyone for their loss and put on a show.

I have started to politely decline orders these days and my state of mind is excellent, relaxed. Avoid toxic people and there is sure growth

Totally agree

i think this about trust, when client 500$ get good result from you, they will spend more and more and talk less...
Trust is a two way street. Plus it's waste of time to win a paranoid noob's trust. The market is wide open.

Very true, in my experience the bigger the client the more to the point they are. Smaller clients tend to want to micro manage, maybe they can't afford to lose any money so the anxiety is higher.

Some people are just a******* , a lot of times I buy cheap services and I don't get what I asked for, yet, I don't ask nor for a refund or I waste someone's time asking stupid questions when the fault is mine for coming to them on first place, and it doesn't worth it at all for such small amount of money.

The $5000 client doesn't send money just like that. There's always a trial and/or a contract. People with deep pockets are much better in their due diligence.
You're right about that, but you would also be surprised as there are people with larger budgets that have less due diligence. That really depends... so your statement is not 100% true in most cases.

5000 USD clients usually have the experience to gauge without the questions. Yes trial is understood they all want a trial nothing wrong with this.

Trust me in 14 years of my work experience. I have never signed a single contract and it was all a handshake with the man's word. I have done goverment projects (as sub-vendor to the master vendor), corporate projects and retail. All these are offline businesses and i still do the same, the past 3 years in my IM experience.

It's a handshake and ofc we send them an invoice with deliverables before we begin.

A good service provider: "I will bring the results, you are entrusting me with your livelihood and lives”
A bad service provider: "Money received, thanks"
