[Journey] My AI Blog (Another) $3,000 Per month (1 Website)

Hey, you're moving really fast! You registered the domain on July 27th and on August 15th you already had 300+ articles posted. What was your strategy when launching the site?

Since it's an old dropped domain:
  1. Was it niche relevant to your new site?
  2. Did you restore any of the old posts or did you start pumping new AI content from day 1?
  3. Did you post around 15 articles per day from the start or did you start with uploading a larger amount of articles?
Some other questions if you don't mind:

  1. Sounds like you have an aggressive strategy, do you think the site will survive for long or is it more of a short-term rank and bank strategy you have?
  2. At what intervals are you planning on launching new sites?
Anyways, wishing you the best of luck! I have a few AI sites as well but started from fresh domains and taking it slow, just recently started to ramp up the amount of articles published per day.

Amazing journey
I would like to know these too :p
I would like to know too.

and this one as well, if you don't mind

A little late to the party. Shame on me since my own journey was linked.

First of all, I want to say congratulations on your rapid growth. I'm sure it's inspiring to many, and it may be even faster than mine!

So, here are my questions:

  1. Can you share anything like the GSC data from around July 27 so we can see a more exact starting point for clicks per day? (Or Google Analytics, as that would include Bing, etc., rather than just the 13k Semrush estimate?)
  2. Describe your article "AI Articles of the Highest Quality."
(Yes/No/Sometimes) is fine:

  • Images in all articles (other than the featured image)?
  • Outbound links?
  • Unique internal links (not just post title)?
  • Planned word count?
  • LSI NLP optimization?
  • Video?
  • Split test titles?
  • Fact checked manually?
  1. Is your site fully in English (as well as for planned future content)?
  2. Is your site specifically targeting your base country in any way, or is it beyond local (e.g., "best tourist attractions in Sydney" vs. "what to pack for a winter vacation")?
  3. Describe your domain's existing backlinks when you acquired it (obviously no exact names). For example, medium-powered links, niche relevant? High-powered broad-topic links, e.g., Forbes, BBC, giant media links?
  4. How does an extra $3,000 a month make you feel? Do you want to sell it for a bulk payout, or hold onto it for a more comfortable time, perhaps buying a jet ski, lol? Or is it just a stepping stone number for proof of concept to yourself?
  5. You mentioned you use the Google API on my thread; are you using it on this journey website as well?
  6. Would you consider keeping a profit-loss statement? (Rich of me to ask this when I'm too lazy to do it myself.)
  7. Are you taking E-E-A-T seriously as you are in health, or just focusing on the content?
  8. Do you plan to start link building or are you keeping it all about content and low costs?
Hey Homie!
Glad to have you over here, sorry I just saw this reply.

1. See the image attached for your pleasure.

  • Images in all articles (other than the featured image)? Yes I run 2-3 images
  • Outbound links? Yes, 2 per article.
  • Unique internal links (not just post title)? Yes, I use a premium plugin for this.
  • Planned word count? None
  • LSI NLP optimization? No, No LSI NLP optimization, i have found this actually doesn't really matter and if anything hinders rankings because of keyword stuffing.
  • Video? - No video
  • Split test titles? - Yes I typically change titles after a few weeks If I haven't ranked in the top 10.
  • Fact checked manually? Yes, I would also highly recommend doing this.
  1. Is your site fully in English (as well as for planned future content)? My site is 100% in english.
  2. Is your site specifically targeting your base country in any way, or is it beyond local (e.g., "best tourist attractions in Sydney" vs. "what to pack for a winter vacation")? It's a very broad niche.
  3. Describe your domain's existing backlinks when you acquired it (obviously no exact names). For example, medium-powered links, niche relevant? High-powered broad-topic links, e.g., Forbes, BBC, giant media links? Existing backlinks - include a lot of business links due to the domain being an expired domain although the backlinks are about 70% niche relevant.
  4. How does an extra $3,000 a month make you feel? Do you want to sell it for a bulk payout, or hold onto it for a more comfortable time, perhaps buying a jet ski, lol? Or is it just a stepping stone number for proof of concept to yourself? Honestly, the cost of living here in Australia is fucked, so an extra 3k p/m would be very nice ontop of my salary.
  5. You mentioned you use the Google API on my thread; are you using it on this journey website as well? I do use it for this website.
  6. Would you consider keeping a profit-loss statement? (Rich of me to ask this when I'm too lazy to do it myself.) I keep everything documented - including spending.
  7. Are you taking E-E-A-T seriously as you are in health, or just focusing on the content? I am not taking it super seriously but I have netted quite a decent amount of keywords i'm assuming from E-E-A-T, however I cannot conclude anything, yet.
  8. Do you plan to start link building or are you keeping it all about content and low costs? I'll start link building soon once I have my content all in place.

No problem lol, and thanks for the zoomed out growth picture (growth like this always brings a smile to my face), you are doing great work, and it being in health gives me hope you will get some great earnings.

Also nice to see someone proving people who say avoid hard niches wrong (as with me and finally puting lots of effort into financial niches despite being conditioned to avoid them for years)

I feel you with the cost of living, as where I live in USA is amoung the worst.

However, since many of these websites can be made at the same time and in general SEO has been pretty good to me, you will get to a point where you stop feeling the same level of discomfort.

It seems the core update has been nice to us both (or at least the week leading into it).

Depending on your niche you might be able to set up lead gen for local practices for some extra eventually. (although your current strategy aint for local, almost any health site can do things like this,

an advantage non health niches dont really have).

Gonna be following along and wish you luck, thanks for taking the time to answer.

Great journey man, good luck.
Can we have an idea about the prompts formats you use for gpt, maybe the structure generally ?

Sorry, there are plenty of guides and details on this that you can test and try yourself.

Another very healthy day.
Adsense: $35.27

I will summarise Amazon earnings weekly as I believe they are about 36 hours behind me (Due to my timezone).
I have started to buy SEO for my "Low hanging fruit" which are long tails that are ranking in the top 3-10.
I have also started buying SEO for any transactional keywords that have more than 10k search p/m that I am ranking in the top 20 for.

Really impressive! A few questions if you don’t mind?

1. Using the openai api, are you using your own custom prompts?

2. What’s your monthly running costs for this setup in total?

1. Yes.
2. I usually buy GPT API access for 1/10th of the cost (currently looking for a new provider atm).

I’ll follow this journey! Please share your experience

I assume you use GPT 4 because ranking with 3.5 is impossible nowadays. However you did mention that you have an GPT API provider but as far as I know there are none for GPT 4.
