If you have a big site earning like $2 o 3K/mo I would definitely go into one of the higher plans like Guru, for the content marketing platform plugin and track all the way through them with more ease (anything that give you extra free time is worthy)

SEM Rush is an incredibly powerful tool but it's only worth it if you are generating revenue. Otherwise there are plenty of free tools that you can use which essentially have the same effect. They just take more work
 
Thank you for letting me know, honestly im earning very well from that site, so i will just go with Semrush, thank you guys
 
You may hardly rank by following semrush content, it's a marketing ploy for you to spend 200$.
To rank i use a combo of keyword reseach tools including semrush(group buy).

Take you time to really read and dig into its functionality. It's very powerful but you really need to take you time to learn it's full functionality

I agree there is an element of marketing to it but it's still a powerful tool and when used correctly
 
You can get a trial account. It is still worthy if you have a seo agency or large scale use.

by mentioning the buisness background you will be able to get most accurate answer for this. Like everyone said its for profitable websites.. For me i don't even bother. Thats for my niche and background. So it matter with needs , goals and current status

Yeah it's about that now for the standard package . It's definitely possible to run effective SEO campaigns without it but i does have it's uses for certain niches/business models. Like all these things it's up to the person to make a judegement call on whether they think it's worth it

It's a good point, it's VERY dependent on the business niche/model etc
