Agree with the user. Sometimes, it's very difficult to understand why Elon takes such actions. Apparently, changing the Twitter handle boosted Elon's self-esteem.

I don't know why he changed the name, but maybe it is for the best interest of everyone.

Elon Musk announced over a year ago that he planned to convert Twitter into an everything app like China's WeChat an app to do everything, including online banking and finance. Last April, Musk announced that Twitter Incorporated has been renamed to Corporation. He created a new artificial intelligence company known as X AI. And he partnered with Etoro for Stock and Crypto Exchange. The media would have you believe that Elon Musk is an independent billionaire genius whose dream is to revolutionize banking. But this story is demonstrably false.

The facts tell us that Elon Musk is a frontman for the same old, same old. But because he says there are only two genders, he has gained the trust of a radicalized people in a time of war without ever having to explain his lies. 1s Musk says he grew up poor, but his family was rich with emeralds and had a history of abuse and witchcraft, telltale signs of multigenerational mind control. Musk received tens of thousands of dollars from his parents to launch his first business venture, a digital phone book known as Zip Two. Outside coders were hired to write the entire thing.

Because Elon bond couldn't code, Zip Two sold for millions and went nowhere. But Elon made $22 million and with the help of the mainstream media, launched his new persona as a quirky pop star genius. He then acquired X.com and announced he would create an online bank known as X. He partnered with banking experts who all left the company after accusing Elon of lying to the media about the product, which is all he did. Elon Musk is believed to have cofounded PayPal. This is false. In 2000, Musk sold his failing X.com business to Confinity, a company founded in 1998 by Peter Thiel and Max Levkin.

All Musk reportedly did there was insist on changing the company's name to X. He was forced out, but somehow managed to get them to agree in writing to remove all references to founders from the company website. Musk made nearly 200 million off the sale of PayPal, a company that he contributed nothing to, and then used that money, along with the illusion of being a successful businessman, cofounder to buy his way into Tesla. Tesla Motors was founded in 2003 by Mark Tarpening and Martin Eberhard, who developed the Tesla Roadster.

When Tesla accepted millions from Elon, it came with the condition that he be named chairman of the company. Even though he only contributed money, musk was unable to hide his anger that the media wasn't giving him credit for Tesla Motors. And after forcing Eberhard out of the company, he rewrote their history to have himself listed as an original co founder. The obvious fake persona of a billionaire quirky genius has worked so well that few even question SpaceX. The official story is that Elon, who has absolutely no experience with rocket science, came up with the idea for SpaceX while traveling to Russia with the CIA's. Michael Griffin of incutel. Shortly after this conversation, Griffin was made administrator of NASA, where he launched the COTS program that privatized NASA's rocket program and awarded $278,000,000 to SpaceX, who had never made or flown any rockets.

Musk then partnered with rocket engineer Tom Mueller, who went on to produce rocket technology that has clearly been developed for years in the private sectors of the military industrial complex. Elon's companies have received billions in government subsidies over the last two decades. Money that was later spent on the purchase of Twitter, where he immediately began the process of turning it into an everything app with its own banking system. Or rather, the ruling class cabal that pulls his strings is turning Twitter into an everything app with its own banking system.

And that should be alarming. But he says there are only two genders and families are good, and people love a hero. They don't need to chip you to control you. We already have iris scanners and palm scanners. A cashless society will do the job, and for many, Elon's ex will be preferable to Amazon's palm scanners.

The illusion of choice will make your financial and slavement less painful.

So what could it mean for people's existing accounts? He'll surely want to keep the audience /users he currently has - which means keeping people on the platform with their current follower base, similar to how Instagram people could automatically add their 'Threads' account.

Short name might do wonders for them. I would have been happier if Elon took thought lf multiple people currently working in Twitter for this.

Tweeter was a better name... And if someone writes on Twitter w called it He Tweeted... Now after X what will we call if someone writes on X? (May Be Xing or X-pressed?)
Can't be a "Xing", that already exists as the name of a social network.. but the fact that that detail wasn't pointed out yet in the other comments speaks volumes as to its popularity despite being around for over a decade...

That said, over the course of an unannounced weekend he chose to throw away:

the brand name "Twitter" - which has which has become deeply embedded in the social lexicon worldwide and has been for over 15 years,

Twitter recognized and used universally both in conversation and actual platform usage by everyone from gen Z and whoever the hell is younger than them (Gen lockdown? Gen quarantine or Q? Gen Oops we skip to the end of the alphabet and ran out of letters? But I digress)

all the way up to centennials -

The Twitter logo, one of the top five most universally recognizable logos worldwide

The act of "tweeting" is arguably even more universally recognizable action embedded into everyday communication channels quite literally everywhere in the world -

This is a feat only really realized at the scale by one other company, Facebook - literally the only other platform whose name and messaging method is as universally embedded in culture as Twitter and tweets - something that if used properly (or at all.. hell even used haphazardly is, at this point, too big to fail immediately - the ultimate winning jackpot to shrimp all winning jackpots, the Golden goose of lottery jackpots that keeps giving...

He is completely scrapping that overnight - iconic logo, household brand name in literally every country in the world and all -

Doing this over the course of a weekend between a Friday and a Monday without so much as an announcement let alone any form of gradual transition and rebranding it

AND renaming it something ambiguous, confusing and unoriginal, a name as x.com which I guarantee people will think has to do with adult content (I'd be willing to bet money if the algorithms will too)...

something HAS to have happened to that man, nobody could possibly get that far in business, finance and wealth without disgustingly massive generational wealth with this level of ineptitude and incompetence.

It's as if he's lost all of his common sense and two-thirds of his IQ.

It may have been like this for a while but when I go to a Twitter profile when not logged in, I'm shown tweets from months/years ago, purely because they have the most likes.

Even on news profiles. That doesn't make any sense.

Thats not good in terms of SEO. Ranks will fluctuate and also that's not same niche (banking and social) :D

Is that for Crypto?
no what i meant is each page can be monetized on X now, and % of the ads that showed up in their comments/posts , the owner of the page gets the share. pretty cool and incentivizes page owners to push out more content
