Playing with it now. Unlike the jump from GPT-3 > GPT- 4, I haven't really noticed much difference from the original Claude. I haven't done anything systematic yet though, just screwing around.
If the comparison to Claude 1 holds, I expect it to be a marginally better writer than GPT, especially for things like fiction. On the other hand, GPT-4 is king of coding and overall reasoning imo. I don't expect Claude 2 to make leaps there. But maybe it will surprise me. The more tools the merrier.
