Don't joke, get a job

The advice is good, if you are just starting out and have no money, you need to get the best job you can get and work on IM as a side hustle until you can afford to quite your full time job.

But you ruined it with the example you gave. 66k? I suspect you were high when you wrote the example :D

if someone is earning that kind of money somewhere in mcdonalds, you can bet that housing and everything else is too expensive, they probably cant afford anything with that money even if it sounds huge, especially if they dont own their own house/apartment...

I found it online, here's more accurate

salary range in Switzerland for McDonald's crew members, the annual salaries in USD would be approximately:

Low end of the range: CHF 42,000 x 1.10 USD/CHF ≈ $46,200 USD per year.
High end of the range: CHF 54,000 x 1.10 USD/CHF ≈ $59,400 USD per year.

Thats actually pretty good, I know from sources that a fairly new LinkedIn Ads manager here makes the same amount fulltime here minus 30% taxes as employed.
McD's in Ireland are great with students too helping them build their timesheets around study and class times... Pretty cool

interesting topic this has become lol

average rent in switzerland is almost half of that per month, much higher if you live in cities(where mcdonalds are probably mostly located)

As I said, you will spend all that money for tax, rent and stuff so there won't be any money left to save!

From one job to another you eventually afford a better life

Where I'am the branch manager makes $1500 per month, the kitchen crews I don't know, maybe $200-$300 a month or less.
Even if there is a place in the world where you make such amounts from flipping burgers, you'd have to live on a tent and do IF with your single meal being water & soup If you wanna save, economy is about balance, ins & outs.

You can buy a 500$ dollar vehicle and live in it, you can sleep and live in a vehicle for free. You park it infront of McDonald's
