it is legit, I have signed up during a labour day promotion before, basically you still pay for a domain name and hosting if I remember correctly so that comes up to around $19.

i used dreamhost before. They are good. My big mistake is to move my host plan to godaddy

So no paypal and only USA.. Non USA people, dont waste your time....

I received dream host last year for free. IMO, I paid too much. lol I guess they are okay if you already don't have hosting though.

I was gonna sign up but when I got to this page, fuck you dreamhost! Fire whoever told you to hire this 10 year old kid as your technical support and fire whoever thought it would be a good idea to put him on the signup page as your support team, you fucking idiots.

Why so angry? I interpreted that picture quite differently... I remember reading that last year when i signed up for this deal... it actually made me go through with the sale! i enjoy companies with a sense of humor

LOL some people are stupid. It seems pretty easy to understand from my point of view, can't you see that this picture is without a doubt pretty old? (See Pixels & White Dots on the kid?)

"Mike S" in this situation is probably around 25 years old(Maybe older) by now. They just took a picture of him when he was younger and did some photoshop magic with it.

That to me, is very good marketing by showing their customers they have a sense of humor and professionalism.

EDIT: Forgot to add that DreamHost is a very good host, they offer a bunch of stuff to their customers and their CS is Flawless. FYI, I'm in no way associated with that company, I'm just a very happy customer.
