I saw a video about a year ago that Alex Becker made specifically saying that creating your own crypto project would be the best investment that you can make in the crypto space. I always have been the type to ask as the consumer how is something made for the consumer and I have seen a lot of services on Fiverr specifically to building and/or forking crypto projects. Does anyone else have any experience with creating their own crypto project?

I've created a few projects but they never went anywhere, it was mostly for experimental purposes to learn how. One thing I will say is the creating the project part was the easiest, growing a real community around the project was the hardest. Some stupid ideas with good marketing take off, while someone like me trying to do it organically fails.

I created an NFT marketplace for a specific community where members can buy and sell using the communities token instead of ETH/SOL etc. Still being used today by 6k people. On EOS I made a staking dapp that would stake EOS to a persons account if they ran out of CPU allocation and couldn't make any transactions. I built a token for a play to earn game which had a blacklist feature so we could freeze tokens stolen by scammer/hackers etc and loads of various staking/interest dapps.

I've never built a project for myself though, most of my work has been for other projects as I am not a full stack developer I don't handle front end and GUI so I would struggle to build my own projects without hiring other team members but it's definitely something I would love to do.

It is not possible to create own projects for small guys. Everyone does not has the budget for this.

Actually you can create your own token with +100 USD with no coding experience straight from panels that are meant specifically for this.

Just set the tokenomics parameters (staking, fees etc), pay the small fee and you are done. It's really that simple.

The hard part is getting people to invest in your project. Unfortunately, random shilling won't cut it like it used to... Even CMS channel on Reddit has died out during the bear market. I have a crypto subreddit that on a good day gets half the posts CMS gets on a bad day.

Do you know any legit website/service/panel doing this? If yes, could you send me a PM with the url?

Weird statement. Nowadays anyone, even a 15 year old kid can create a crypto project within 30 to 60 minutes. How is that an "investment" ? Example, if I create 10 crypto projects everyday, but I do not promote them, they have no utility value : So how do all these become an "investment". Merely creating a crypto project means NOTHING. It must have some utility value AND must be promoted AND it's token must be bought AND then traded, etc, in order to consider the project as a "possible" investment.

It's Becker, he'll say anything if it'll make him money :)

Reminded me of one time when we were sniping a project launch on AVAX, redlight node district or something like that, got a bit lucky and had 40K $ worth of coins, until we realized the transaction was caught by this (at that time) not a well known function "anti sniper", and coins were completely frozen. Logic was pretty damn simple, check the block number when the liquidity was added, if coins purchased in the same block as liquidity added - freeze it. Triggers me to this day

You can also get token contracts from Github free of charge, put your own token name, symbol and decimals and upload to the blockchain. A person with no programing skills can launch a token in 15 minutes without any money. You will need gas fees though.

Launched about 5 so far, first one reached 300k Mcap with tiktok 3 million views.
2nd one did 800k on ftm shiba based token
3rd got 2m Mcap RuneScape themed, grew because of twitch streamers.
4th hit 12.5 million Mcap, and still trading today at 1.2M. Shouted out by binance owner, been on televised news too.

5th is a decentralised ownership for a DAO adult content company. Which is still in development so no price relation yet.

Now tell us how you closed the doors for the first projects. Told the investors the regular "sorry we tried but the funds ran out"?

Or just walked away? :D

Well the first few were either seasonal themed, event themed or trend themed. So naturally died out after the relevant time period / attention left.

Never dumped or left investors in the dark, hence why when the next one came along, everyone had confidence and pushed it to a higher level.

the projects did offer a utility, some were competitive, some were programs, exclusive access. Etc. so it was payment for access.

There is no utility for seasonal projects. It's all just a shitcoin ponzi and comes down who manages to cash out quicker and 99 % of the time the cashouts are being orchastrated by the teams.

It's not like you create these projects out of a kind heart, the utility is never a utility but just an excuse to create a problem where there wasn't any before.

I'm not hating, it's business at the end of the day but let's call a spade a spade.

Is there a way to participate in your current project?

Creating your own crypto project is very easy, if you don't jave the knowledge, you can hire someone to do it for you. The whole thing is marketing and finding investors. Building a real community is very hard, it needs big budget. That's why I have not created any project yet, I don't have a good marketing plan.

I have a utility idea for a crypto coin.
