WEEK #1:

I only uploaded nine videos this week because I was busy with school and stuff. It worked out fine, though, because one of my videos ranked really easily and is already at 10k views. It's still bringing around 1.5k a day, and it's not slowing down. The rest of the videos are pretty stagnant, but that's how it is with this YouTube module. I've had videos with 0 views but start getting a lot of views after three months, so you have to be in it for the long run.

I averaged about 11.5k views a day this week, and for revenue, I averaged around 15 dollars a day, so both of them went up by a little. I also finally made a bank account just for YouTube, so I am going to start looking for people to outsource the work to. I passed the 2k subscriber mark as well, which is pretty cool.

WEEKLY GOALS:

1. Upload 30 videos this week. (I will have a good amount of free time this week)
2. Start the search to start outsourcing work. (Probably going to be using Upwork)

Currently, I am making everything myself, but I am planning on hiring people soon.

I choose the topics by using the YouTube search bar. I usually start with "how to" and then look at all the suggested search options. I might put a verb after like "how to choose" or something along those lines and see what the suggested search results show. Once I find a topic that looks okay, I check how much traffic there is for the topic and the ranking videos for the topic as well. If it looks too hard to rank, I'll try to niche down the search a little more, and if it still doesn't look too promising, I look for a different topic.

1. For the keyword, as I said in the reply above, I use the YouTube search bar.

2. The traffic is mostly organic. I've been testing out SMM panels to see if I can rank videos easier, but they don't work at all currently. Other than that, it's all organic.

3. It all depends on a couple of things. The competition, the volume of searches, and the actual search term. If there is little competition or no competition at all, it becomes really easy to rank. Sometimes I'll find a perfect term where there are only a couple of videos, and the thumbnails are built horribly or some factor like that, and then it becomes really easy to rank.

Of course, it doesn't matter if you rank if there is no volume. Sometimes I will go for a highly competitive keyword, and the video will still do well just because there is such a high volume for that search term, and sometimes I will rank for a search term, but the video doesn't do that well because there isn't any volume for that search term.

Then the actual search term. This varies on how much it will affect the ranking of the video. If there is no competition, then the search term doesn't matter that much. If it is a pretty competitive search term, then you want to find a search term that is basically the same, but there is a slight difference in the wording. For example, you might search for "How to block someone on Facebook," but for that search term, there are hundreds of videos using that exact wording. You might be better off switching it to "How to block people on Facebook." It stays almost the same, but there are slight differences in the wording that make you rank better or worse.

Thanks for reply. When you mention search volume, do you mean google search volume or do you use vidIQ or something else which gives you the search volime for youtube?
Also, when I asked about why I meant since you've chosen certain keywords based on the same analysis and made videos on those keywords, why some of them did well and others didn't since you always choose low conpetition keywords? They should all rank since they're low compet.

Yeah, I use vidIQ to check the search volume. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but it does give me an estimate. And for ranking, I don't always go for low-competition keywords. I would, but those are pretty rare, so I go for competitive keywords aswell. I almost always rank on the low-competition ones, but on the high-competition ones, it is more luck than anything.

WEEK #2:

So my goals last week were

1. Upload 30 videos this week. (I will have a good amount of free time this week)
2. Start the search to start outsourcing work. (Probably going to be using Upwork)

I did not upload 30 videos; I only uploaded 8 because I was lazy . However, I did put up a job post on Upwork and found a couple of candidates to sort through and start the outsourcing. They will only be doing the video creation because that is the worst part for me. I don't mind the SEO or any other aspect of the process, so I will keep doing that until I start making more money.

I averaged about 14.1k views a day this week, and for revenue, I averaged around 20 dollars a day, so both of them went up a ton. A lot of the videos I posted a couple of weeks ago started ranking, so it's been steadily going up. Yesterday I hit 23$, so the 25$ mark by the end of march is very doable.

THINGS I NEED TO WORK ON:

Obviously, one of the things is getting the work done. I can make the excuse that I had school, but I spent WAY too much time on social media/video games/etc. I'll look into that and let you guys know how it goes and give you guys any advice once I find it (I would also appreciate any advice you can give me).

I also started working more on my thumbnails. The current thumbnail template works pretty well, but I want to see if I can find an even better one, so I've been experimenting with all sorts of thumbnails and testing them out.

WEEKLY GOALS:

1. Upload 30 videos. I didn't do it last week, so I am determined to do it this week (that would be embarrassing if I didn't upload 30 this week, lol )
2. Filter through and hire the person to outsource the work to.
3. Work on my procrastination/laziness problem.

WOW! This is an amazing thread and an amazing journey my friend. I hope more people check this amazing thread out because you are actively taking active and I would say you're doing well to start.

My top channel which is faceless as well, but it's in the entertainment niche is making $10-20 a day, the rest are making less, but I got a sports channel which will blow up later this year when the season for that sport heats up more. I'm making $400-500 at the moment the past few months. I was making a $1,000 a month between August-October.

Faceless search-based term channels are the best ones to start making fast money on YouTube and these channels provide a lot of evergreen content which is why I wanted to start one away from the trendy niches.

I wanted to start a How To search based channel, but wanted to see yours so I'm going to send you a DM in private to talk more about it.

WEEK #3:

I averaged about 16.35k views a day this week. Some views were from an SMM panel because I was testing out a service (more on that further down) For revenue, I averaged a little over 25 DOLLARS A DAY!!! I can't believe I actually hit the goal for March; just two months ago, I wasn't making any money at all, so this is absolutely crazy to me. Some of the videos I posted last week did really well, which I think led to hitting the goal of 25 dollars. Yesterday I hit 29 dollars as well, so I'll see if I can hit 30 dollars consistently before the end of March. I'm pretty sure it will at least stay above 25 dollars a day from here on out, but I'll keep you guys updated.

SMM PANEL:

So I found a new service that costs a couple of bucks for a thousand views. I tried it out because I still had money left over on that SMM Panel, and to my surprise, the video started taking off. It's only been like five days, so I'm not completely sure how it works. I tested it on two other videos and added more money to my account on that SMM panel. The two other videos haven't shown any results yet but it took a couple of days for the first one to show any results so I gotta be patient. I'll let you guys know how that works out though. I'm not going to tell anyone the service yet though because if it actually works I want to abuse the heck out of it.

LAST WEEK'S GOALS:

1. I did not upload 30 videos. I actually still haven't uploaded any . I have ten videos that I'm going to upload by tonight, but I did not hit my goal. I was pretty unproductive until Friday; I decided I needed to change something, so I changed my schedule and hopped on that grind. I also had a good amount of homework which I should've done earlier in the week, which led to me only creating ten videos.

2. I haven't chosen somebody to hire. Most of the candidates have a really strong accent, so I'm going to see if I can find someone without that much of an accent.

3. I'm working on it. Like I said before, I changed my schedule, so Saturday, Sunday, and today have been really good days, so I'll try to keep to the new schedule.
