How to know exact traffic for a website?

I was checking traffic for a website

Similar web shows 290k visits per month
But on semrush it shows 39k per month.

Which is more accurate or is there any other tool for more accurate data?

if you're looking for EXACT traffic data, you need access to the website's server. otherwise, everything else is just estimates.

You cannot. Semrush and other paid tools are a joke when it comes to traffic estimations. Similarweb is free and much more accurate, but still can be quite off.

If you really need the info, you can try a trick that is just slightly unethical: Contact the owner of the website and pretend that you are interested in direct advertising, or in a paid guest post.

Suggest high sum (at least $200-$300 for the post), to make sure they reply to you. Then, once you already are in the conversation, ask them about the average monthly traffic for last 6 months. If they want to make a sale, and consider you serious, they will reply and give you the information you need.

These services just provide an estimate.
Here's a silly trick to find out the exact figures. Just contact the website owner and ask if he is interested in selling the website. Offer him a ridiculously high price, which he can't refuse even in his dreams. After that just ask him to add your email in the search console as viewer to better get an insight.
After seeing everything just vanish in to the dark.

There is no exact traffic tool, unless you have access to Google analytics or similar tool.
Semrush us more accurate but always shows low traffic. Another problem is it shows traffic getting lower over time for most sites with consistent traffic.
