There are a couple services that send you a free US SIM when you register the account. You’ll still have to pay for data, but if you’re not using it then it’s essentially a free SIM. Alternatively, Amazon or Ebay.

Well, the USA sim is mostly for verification so you'll want to have one on the right location and have it for a prolonged period of time for consistent use on that aspect. I'd say it's quite necessary. Of course, if someone has any take on this that knows more about it than me, then I'd like to know as well. But yeah, in my opinion, you'll need one.

Proxy and simcard is what you needed to get started with a US tiktok account.
I see some VIP users preach on here that you DON’T actually need a proxy, simply just pop in an unactivated US SIM and use home WIFI. Do you have any opinions on this?

Seems like everything I post is not getting even 1 view. I have everything set up for the US market (simcard, apple id on usa) but still nothing. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.I just stitched a video with viral potential using the stitch method for iPhone

I tried it with an us sim and 4g proxy and it doesn't work in my iphone.
I can't even follow other users or edit my profile, tried it now with two different phones. It says I'm too fast or too many attempts (didn't change anything before) or the server can't be reached.
Setup: iphone 7, 4g proxy (bhw approved) and potatso (socks 5 proxy)
What do I do wrong?

Remove the proxy and create another account using SIM only and your wifi, see if it works that way.

Tried it, doesn't work
I tried it, tiktoks get shown to random ass countries in europe on home wifi, no good. Proxy + SIM worked great.
