Google hits random sites at random times. Not being hit but have been hit several times in 2022.

That is painful. This is actually what depresses me a lot because we grind so much for so many months just to rebegin our same journey.

Yeah, it is really painful. I have decided to shelve that site for a while now and focus on other projects.
The site was mainly populated with Youtube videos and descriptions. It also has some uniquely written articles but Google has just decided to punish it, it seems like that.
However I am seeing no manual action in GSC.

Update from just a few minutes ago. Sigh. Things have been going so well until like 5 days ago. Mostly category pages and blogs. Feels like tons of work slowly draining. I have confidence I can turn it around, I just don't know how yet.

Fluctuactions are normal. It doesnt always go up. Semrush is always not super accurate. I've seen it show that positions have dropped but when I check serp it hasn't moved.

Well its just the google dance altgoritm and thats way i dont like to depends only on seo or youtube etc .I work with multiple traffic sources

High volatility today. As I said, I noticed huge changes from yesterday. Not like the usual Google dance. Big changes, as if it was a core update.

One big website, whitehat, has been hit hard. I often watch this guy's site as a reference.

May - 15k/m traffic
June - 12k
July- 9k
Aug - 7k
Sept - 5k
Oct - 4.5k
Nov - 4k
Dec - 3.5k
Now 100 visits daily means it would be 3k.

Same here. One of my sites got slaughtered during the 2022 May Core Update. Lost +/- 60% of traffic and it’s been slowly declining since. I've builded more links than I had before the update and the site didn't ever move up.
