Yes good for you, just tell them not to publish them HERE and cock it up for the rest of us when fb read it and change things to suit.

What exactly was the change in their TOS? Was it having a friends invite box? using "become a fan" button to reveal stuff? What have they changed and what can't be done now?

lol fbml code is not ilegal on fb dude! otherwise they would remove static fbml app itself.

not following FB TOS makes them change it!

and those pages changes they done the last couple days were being announced back in November 2009 on their blog so get your facts straight before opening your big mouth, btw they also announced the "Boxes" tab was gonna be taken off back in Nov. 2009 so anytime soon if that box is gone don't forget to blame on me again

Honestly, reading your posts are SO annoying. You're always trying to sell something (usually the FBML code). I've said it a few times, and I'll say it again; you played a LARGE role in FB getting raped in the butt. Trying to make some "fast cash =D" eh..?

Its fair to say that Carolina coded a nice fb page, and users raped the shit out of it.. but why bash him - he did what any coder would do, he coded a page and sold his code - nothing illegal, unethical or wrong about that - even fair to say any forum would accept this activity. So instead of taking your frustration for lost earnings out on someone who did nothing wrong - just think of a new method. It was probably him that even gave 90% of the people here the method in the first place, and it worked so well that everyone just wants that to keep happening.

And trying to say he's out for fast cash is completely wrong also - he returned all paypal orders and if I remember correctly forwarded all future orders to bhw (donations)

LOL this shyt is funny, the FBML idea is not dead, the only thing you cannot do is force users to invite their friends, you can still ASK them to do so by pointing out how, and adding the share button somewhere too, although I tinhk there is a limit to requests it sends out.

You CAN still hide content from user unless they are a fan of your page, and the rest of the idea, the actual money making part still works. All you gotta do is get friends on your facebook profiles and invite them to join the fan page, its a bit of extra work, but very wothwhile.

that's all there is. No iframe, no become a fan or invite friends from page but you can give instructions and reveal steps based on above code


Changes to fbml code were announced months ago and change from time to time so no reason to get all bent out of shape at those that share
