I like Android for wallets, but make sure you have a new phone. Your operating system needs to be updated to the latest security patch. Older phones are vulnerable.

No, absolutely not. First of all, never download an app outside of an official app store. No random apks or such. Developers can install SDKs or spyware which can give them access to your whole phone including your data. Thats not a secret. For iOS it is much harder, but not impossible.

The general rule is: Don't download or open random shit. Don't click on random links. Don't share your password with anyone. If you get suspicious emails that could be phishing, simply open the original URL in your browser and check instead of clicking on the link.

No matter if its Android, iOS, MacOS or Windows, every system can be hacked. The real problem is the user. Same goes for BHW where people sometimes lose hundreds of dollars or more because they buy from a random fresh account using crypto. Don't do that, use your brain.

You don't need antivirus. Every action needs a user confirmation. Nothing gets installed without your permission. The phone user is also notified (before installation) when the app has access to every specific part of the phone. The Android is open source. All these features are public and any developer can double check if they work. All these in comparison to a windows PC where everything is hidden and users don't have control over anything.

If anyone download Paypal Monkey Generator.APK and installs it even when your mobile gives a warning and the apk file asks a lot of permission, then it will be a problem

The one and only way to completely avoid crypto hacking, is by applying common sense. However, common sense is nowadays not so common.
The human being who is operating, using a device needs to use common sense (if possible).

iPhone is less vulnerable because the system is pretty closed, apps are strictly vetted by Apple and you can't download shit from third party stores just like that.

I always go for Mac + iPhone.

Worth every cent, and never got any virus.

Most of the crypto hacking is done through phishing websites, where some or many people enter their private keys, seed phrases (which should NEVER be done). And even on an Apple, iPhone device, certain of those phishing websites are able to load in the browser.
