Here is what I do. When I get lazy I go to ebay motors and look at some of the cars I want to purchase. Also when I'm on the toilet I look at Dupont Registry and Robb Report.

That's how I overcome my laziness.

it's an overall feeling. I just don't feel like doing anything. I think I am transforming into a plant. :)

at least I will make 02 instead of C02.

It takes a lot of effort to make a thread, how did you do that?

I am hoping that maybe one of you guys might have an excellent idea that will make me GO TO WORK.

any other suggestion, besides looking at stuff I could buy if I get to work?

Stop looking at it. Print it out, put it on the wall and circle a date on your calendar. If you can expend the effort necessary to type hi im lazy troll threads certainly you can expend the same amount of effort (still pushing buttons) its not like we're roofing here.

Or QFT and stop. Not like I need the extra competition anyways.

Here are some suggestions:

1. Get enough sleep. Not having enough sleep is the main cause for people not feeling like doing anything. Even if you don't feel sleepy, you probably are :)

2. Practice makes perfect. Force yourself to do some tasks everyday, and slowly work it up. The more work you do, the more you get used to it.

3. Get a tough part time job. The tougher the job is, the easier it will make all other work seem for you. You are forced to work at your job, and will make it easier to force yourself to do other jobs.

4. Make it fun. Fun can change people's behaviour. I saw it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lXh2n0aPyw

5. Get more exercise. Perhaps your body is out of shape...

It might not be that you're lazy, its might be that you're intimidated and don't have confidence in yourself. Be prepared to feel like an inferior human being before you "get it". But don't quit!

Lay off the weed. Eat Healthy. Get some exercise. Get your shit together Van Wilder.

Bong rips and DayQuil get me brimming with energy. ;)

jk.

Imagine yourself in five years sitting in the same place, doing the same thing, contemplating taking action and never really accomplishing anything. Do you really want to waste your life sitting on your ass? GTFO and do something, for F-sake.

just push yourself to start doing it and it should be easier from their. At least that works for me.

Break down the project in small 15 minute blocks of time.
Say for 15 minutes I am going to only do this one thing.
and time yourself. Then take a 5 minute break and do more on your list for another 15 minutes. and so on....

It is the matter of time....Once you receive payment of your work then all laziness disappear. Same as my story at starting I don't want to work only to play games on my console but once i got payment of my work then i start investing more and more time in working

i wish i could be less lazier too :thinkerg: i try to overcome it by inspiring myself i take walks outside around and see different businesses and so on try motivate myself with new ideas or to just start working, the point is to have a goal for yourself something that you really want to make you go for it.

Dont focus on being lazy or that you are lazy. Because you are not.
In fact you have loads of energy you just dont no what to do with it.

Where to start?
You said you have loads to do, this may be a problem.

The way you look at life greatly affects your performance.

Wake up in the morning and say you have loads of energy.
I am completing ... today! I am really looking forward to completing ....

Positive affirmations

Make a small list of the tasks needed to get to the daily goal.

Repeat to get to the major goal.

focus on the rewards of doing the work. first off you will be satisfied that you accomplished something. and whatever you are doing im sure has financial benefits
