For the last 2 years I have noticed patterns where there is movement and then after some time announcement.

I got affected on 3 sites so far, 2 adult sites and 1 mainstream.
What I did wrong? IDK.

One of the adult site is in the hentai niche. hentai have specific names, is not like you can change the name there so correct me if I'm wrong but I would exclude it's a problem of the content or copied content. Also I had 6 minutes engagement on average and very low bouncing.

I have made some 2.0s and sent some spammy backlinks to them but this was in October-November 2021. Not sure if this could affects my ranking now, specially considering there was another spam update in the meanwhile.

all dropped significantly... some of them dropped page 2 to nowhere

idk what did i wrong... maybe little spammy links? used handwritten articles. im guessing this update catch spammy links..

3 of my sites lost 15%-20% of the traffic. Amazon Aff on less than 5%-10% of the pages. Only organically gained backlinks, high quality content with reviewers wherever needed. It's not fighting spam instead it's their "crush the small guys so we can get more money from ads update"
