Old school. I like that.
I have all my crypto nonsense written down. Each letter/number on a separate piece of paper, and each piece of paper in a different country buried under ground.
And the coordinates of where each piece of paper is buried i also wrote on pieces of paper, one paper per letter/number. And each of those pieces is buries in a different country under ground.
Um... Its gonna cost me $100,000 and 2 years to get to my cryptos...

I wish there was a custom solution.. e.g. a thumb drive with asymmetric encryption like ledger. I am almost sure such solutions already exist, but not marketed enough.

You can do this with Bitwarden : https://bitwarden.com/blog/host-your-own-open-source-password-manager/Bit warden user here but the point remains the same. I should switch to my own solution.

Don't do that, its better to use that text file added in zip file with password for zip
more safe way.

I would suggest KeePassXC, because it is one of the most secure password managers out there. Open source, active development, offline, supports browser integration.

I use KeePassXC with a Yubikey that has NFC so I can use it with my phone (has USB-C as well). Database is on self-hosted NextCloud server and backed up periodically to sync.com cloud. So far a great, secure solution for my needs.

I recommend BitWarden, whether it's selfhosted or using their cloud. I haven't looked back since I switched to BW.
They are intergrated with SimpleLogin/FirefoxRelay and even Anonaddy, which makes making new accounts even faster, more control and honestly easy.
No more unaccessable temporary emails that you "may need access to again 3 months later".
