- about 3 visitors per day
- 31K posts in the database

Don’t expect much traffic before at least 200K posts. 30k is nothing for this type of sites ;-)
I know mut at least they should get indexed?

Reading various experiences and case studies, it seems the “big” indexing will be only after a lot of posts, same for the traffic. I builded some sites, one with more than 100k and some other with less, but till now the index and the traffic is low. Waiting to publish all my 200k and hoping it will change in better

This approach is likely to set you up for a failure. You're going too fast without seeing any results(indexes, traffic). Maybe change something or start over with improvements. Some suggestions here about having "200k" such posts are ridiculous.
We are too late to have easy indexing and traffic by this method. Considering the new update and the rising difficulties in PAA/AI sites recently, i really suggest you to improve your content and go slow initially.
Adsense approval is one milestone that could give you a green light. If you get rejected, they already labeled your site as spam.
