Hey all, I'd like to know if there's any people here experienced with WPUnique:

Code:
http://wpunique.com/

There's a few people who mention it here, and some using it, but not a whole lot of info. It's essentially a WordPress plugin that turns your text into machine-readable symbols and supposedly makes Google believe that it's unique.

I'd like to see if anyone has good experiences or has seen themselves move up in the SERPs shortly after installing/using it.

I'm going to contact him to see if I can use the functions on a non-Wordpress site. This isn't for a blog, but I need to try something with a bunch of duplicate content pages.

Thanks,
Berto

Oh it works alright. It's a plugin FOR wordpress. And just wondering how can installing a plugin that basically hides duplicate content help you increase your serps? I can say that you can use ezine articles and post it as content on your site with this plugin and not get penalized for duplicate content since it incoporates symbols.

So this sentence in coding looks like s#o# t#h#i#s #s#e#n#t#e#n#c#e
but to readers it looks like plain text. It's a very nice plugin i use it for micro niche sites. I take articles from ezine and plop it on my page till it starts rakin in cash then i outsource articles to replace it.

I can say this worked for me. I had an autoblog that wasn't doing anything but collecting posts and it had nearly zero traffic. A couple weeks ago I put this plugin into it and figured what the hell, I went ahead and changed all 250 or so posts. Suddenly a few days later it started getting hits on search terms from the serps. I don't know how it works but I can say it helped breathe a little life back into a dead site. I wouldn't call it a miracle plugin either, but any traffic is better than a stale autoblog.

I got it a couple of months ago. Used it on some obscure disposable adsense type sites with some trepidation.

I was shocked. Got great results, a lot of page 1 for some long tail keywords. And the results appeared within hours of the post.

I was using Auto Social Poster, a wp plugin. Didn't do anything else.

Someone mentioned ezinearticles. WpUnique really does work wonders with reprint and plr crap.

Find an article one ezinearticles thats on page one. Post that article exactly as found at ezinearticles. If you bookmark the post.....then you'll find your article/post directly beneath or on top of the original ezine article.

I'm using it on one blog that is an old internet marketing related blog, I get an IM PLR article a day and use wpunique to post the article. I'm usualy the only one to be found on google for the original article title.

However, my traffic to that blog seems to have slipped by about 25% over the last week or two.....don't know if its from the wpunique plugin or not.

I wouldn't hesitate to use it on a new blog.....but if it's something you want to baby and keep around for a while, I think I might think twice.

How long can G let a simple trick like this get by

Haven't tried it yet but I have Uniquefier and it really works. No duplicate contents if checked in copyscape...

Yes, it works. Been using it with my http://automaticblog.info/blog/ for about a month with good results. Not my auto-blogs are really set it and forget it. It uniquifies you blog post content as explained in previous posts, and you can also spin the articles if you want. Lastly it will automatically cloak your affiliate link to the keywords your specify. It's pretty cool.

It also allows you to monetize words in your posts. You pick the words and link them to your affiliate program.

Some negative opinion here ...

If you guys check the video ... the guy shows how the code gets unique ..

So I installed the software, and did the same method as the guy shows but i didn't get any conversion of the page source code ... !

The other thing is, thy synonyms data that this script has sucks so badly you cant understand anything of an article once rewritten !

Wpunique does not work. I installed on one of my autoblogs and those pages that I made unique were not indexed by Google. After I uninstalled, my pages got indexed in 24 hours.
Google found the way to not index those pages.

some pretty mixed opinions here. Some say it totally works, some say it doesn't work at all. Guess you just gotta test. I've got it but not used it. Gonna give it a try but I don't see how it would be a long term solution.

Btw, what types of sites would use this machine code or whatever? There must be a reason it works. Anyone else have positive results?

Sounds like a great program. Will it automatically adjust all of my current posts if I install it on my autoblogs? If I deactivate it, will it remove it from all of my posts?

Just to add my few cents here.

I had a couple of old auto blogs lying around not getting any traffic - pretty well indexed in google but using for the most part YA for content. The sites had been around for about 8 months with little to no traffic. Intalled the uniqufier plugin and within around 2 weeks traffic increased from about 2 visitors a day to around 40-50 on each site. I did nothing else therefore this amazing increase is down to the plugin.

If you think about it I do not see what the problem is with big G here, all this does is present the content to the bots in true bot language rather than typical text.

This format is as old as the internet therefore should be acceptable given it does not detract from the users experience which, after all is what matters doesn't it?

Do not work for me.
Used to though, when it first came out.

I assume this plugin is 110% pointless? Found a cracked version of it. Testing it, all It does is add a bunch of crap to all my keywords in my posts.

I think I will have to test if I want to know if this works, soon I will give it a try...
