Twitter still a good traffic source?

I was thinking about starting up with twitter but is the traffic alot of bunk or what?

The account sign-up process is easy to just bull crap so i'm guessing most users are just there to do the same as me.


Any oppnions are appreciated

I just got interested in twitter again after being pleasantly surprised to see some of my old accounts were still auto-tweeting and actually getting a few clicks here & there. (I haven't gone near them since setting up a bunch a few months ago. I got sidetracked with other things.)

Now the bad news: Twitter go railroaded pretty quick by spammers and they've made it much more difficult to set up mass accounts, so the party ain't as much fun as it used to be.

That said, if you're patient, don't follow more than 100 people a day per account, don't mind messing with proxies & IP settings and don't spam the shit out of them, sure! There's plenty of traffic coming from Twitter.

You could probably just purchase accounts from somebody and save yourself a lot of hassle. *oop*:sad:Not supposed to talk about that stuff anymore!

i think trying to profit directly from twitter is oversaturated with everyone trying to do it. I've made $20+ with revtwt but that was right when it was brand new. since then i've just linked my autoblogs to several twitter accounts and have made $15 in december and $35 in jan from amazon affiliate program. i'm adding 4-5 new autoblogs per day so i'm hoping i double income this month as i did last month to $70 and will add other revenue options like adsense, adbrite, clicksor or anything that will generate good revenues. For the autoblogs that aren't making any money I use the traffic stats I've generated from twitter and twitter related sites (500-1000 per day) and flip them and I've been averaging $50+ per sale all from a $1.07 domain name and $9.95 monthly hosting account investment so it all depends on how u use twitter. Oh I've used sponsortweet too and only have made $6 in 3 months but I think once I have an account with over 5-10k following I'll probably make way more.

in my facebook fan page right now 12k fans and in my twitter right now 2k followers.

I am getting 47 clicks from twitter to my website , while i am getting 10 click from my facebook fan page to my website.

I've been working on some other things and kinda stopped my blackhat Twitter stuff, but I have a whitehat site that gets about 200 clicks a day from Twitter.

I just experiment a little bit with RevTwt. I plunged in $50 deposit, set up an email submit campaign, blank the ref, launched it, burnt $2.6, made $5.2 after 24 hours.

I hear kaching.. kaching.. in my ear.

Now it's time to scale up.

...and yes, twitter traffic is working from where I'm sitting.

I'm getting absolutely crushed on twitter right now. Whether I make 20 accounts or a thousand, completely without following anyone at all, I STILL get banned within a day.

I haven't had time to devote to figuring it out at length, but it's ugly out there for sure.

Have you tried adding random people like search london girls on tweet adder and then put up links for make up CPA's and hair cut discount vouchers? I'm testing a new method out at the moment if it works I'll post it up using twitter traffic.

I have over a hundred twitter accounts. All of them are publishing tweets from my auto blogs and following 10 for every targeted tweets. So far no one has been banned and I'm making serious bucks with the free traffic.

I think twitter is not a good Traffic Source. If you want to get traffic from bookmarking sites you need a Bot. I'm looking for this for two days but i couldn't.
