Certain real estate investments are the best possible passive income sources. In internet marketing, there is nothing like passive income nowadays : those days are gone. Every method of internet marketing nowadays requires constant active work, even after automating certain tasks. When you find any internet marketing method that generates passive income, please do share that with me in any thread or if you wish, in a PM, so that you are saved from spending US$xxx buying a dream.

Is there money to be made in internet marketing ? Yes, ofcourse, 100%. But, people earning money through internet marketing put in the time and the work on a consistent basis. If you are also ready for that, then you can surely earn money from internet marketing.

I agree with @Raj Kesu in regards to real estate being the best "entry level" into passive income for your average person who isn't well-versed in internet marketing. That being said, you need a damn near perfect credit score and large sums of $$$ to get involved with real estate. An honorable mention would be dividend stocks, but you you need money for that as well.
What I disagree with is passive income not being attainable through IM. You absolutely can make passive income through IM if you know what you're doing, and I'm a living testament to that fact (as well as many other members of the forum). Admittedly, most people won't reach that level, but it's possible. Monthly service websites, automated blogs,, e-commerce websites, ebook/course sales, YouTube, the list goes on...

Its not exactly passive, but YouTube can generate an easy couple hundred dollars per month once you pass the monetization requirements. (1k subs, 4000 hours watch time).

Even in those, it is never passive income. Imagine not doing SEO for a blog or automated blog ? Beyond page 1 of search engines are considered a graveyard. Imagine not uploading videos regularly on a YouTube channel nowadays. There are threads from people good in YouTube, mentioning that their videos have drastically deranked and they are working hard to get the videos performing again.
E-commerce websites : don't do SEO and / or paid ads for a month or two and see what happens. Passive income means income that is passive and whether it is blogging, e-commerce website, YouTube, regular WORK is required nowadays and forums like BHW, etc have millions of threads as testament to that fact.
Even infact in real estate, rent out your property and forget it, never do any maintenance and perhaps after a year it will no longer be rentable for it's actual rental value and that maintenance takes work, even if some contractor does it, still there is some work and time spent by the owner.
In my opinion in reality, nothing gives passive income : everything requires some work, more or less depending on automation, efficiency, etc. However, nothing is plug it, play it, forget it, money guaranteed keeps coming forever after that, with absolutely no further work ever required.
And @xShot , you yourself are always hustling right ? By the way, I really appreciate the methods and experiences that you share. There is no doubt that you are knowledgeable about internet marketing. May be perceptions of people may sometimes be different about some concepts.

I wouldn't really consider real estate very passive as you still have to maintain the property, deal with tenants, etc. Perhaps you can be more specific?
I'd say put some money in index funds and forget about them if you want some passive money.

Buy 10-20 mobile phones, configure them as proxies. Better if OpenVPN or Wireguard. If not, HTTP and HTTPS and Socks5 are also good. After configuration them as proxies, sell them here on BHW after buying Jr. VIP Subscription.
I am also planning to do this, trust me.
