Small Update
I’m not really sure if you guys like my small updates or not but I like giving small updates apart from the journey updates.

I just noticed that my profile has started to get views. I’m not sure if I should be excited about this or no but I’m kinda liking the graph. Hopefully I’ll get more invites too.

I have both the Rising Talent and Job Success Score so let’s see how it goes.

Nice journey. Hope you reach the milestone.

Congratulation ! for making first goal on upwork! I was member there in 2008 but now I am going slef business on own marketplace. Wish your best of luck for upcoming journey!

UPDATE: I have started to get job interviews (single in a day) and I’m buying connects as well to apply for more jobs. Have been sending proposals in the last 2-3 days. Tiring but I’m clueless now. Let’s see how this goes

I don't like upwork, e.g. if you request refund, later you cannot leave 1 star rate

UPDATE: Done Another Job.
Total: 200
Balance: 800

hey man first good luck on your journey, some tips, dont worry about badges, most clients know shit about it, some do look at jss so try to maintain that. dont worry about money spent on connects in the beginning, its fully worth it. it will come a time you wont be able to handle work from recurring clients.
be picky about the jobs you apply, dont be generic like the other 50 freelancers that apply with c+palso, theres plenty of helpful info on r/upwork on reddit, gl

Thank you bro! The tips helped.

Upwork is little bit hard. But I appreciate to move well. Soon you will reach your goal.
Keep going on and never give up. I will follow you. You are going in right path. Take care.

How long are your cover letters?

this is more or less the entire proposal I send

Hey
I am interested in this job.
I have experience Analyzing Data.
I am comfortable with R since I have been using it for the last few years.
I will provide commented and well-written code, let me know if we are a good fit.
I would love to work on this
Thank you

Any tips will be greatly appreciated

See their recent jobs and you’ll see the name of the client. Maybe someone has written it in the feedback and include the client’s name on the cover letter it will make you stand out.

Tell them why you are a good fit. The best bet is to open a upwork account and post a job in your niche and wait for proposals, take inspiration from them. So you what kind of stuff a client gets when they post a job.
