The dumbest blog building experiment

I just completed my 2,000th blog
Each page in the blog has genuine readable clean content.

PS:
(1)Content is not original ripped off from major websites.
(2)Themes used in the websites are themes floating around.
(3)All Keywords that belong to the same category have the same template.
(3)Each site is focuses on just one keyword.
(4)There is no keyword research involved in this process.
(5)No adsence no cpa - YES you read it correct!!!
(6)No RSS submit , No backlink building , No pings or anything...
(7)Internal linking is to index pages so for website with 5k pages i get 5k internal backlinks to my index page.

(8)This is not a autoblog , content is saved in a database , and is uplaoded daily once on each of the website.

My Future plans with this experiment

Get as many keywords and build website relevent to each keyword.
It doesnt matter how much competition is there
It doesnt matter how much money i make if any..!!!!

** I am not doing any manual work - I wrote a software which is doing entire work for me , including blog registration , i just need to specify a few things and it takes care of the rest...But there are flaws with this application...So i am constantly editing it.

Why I am doing this --
After building a website/blog everybody is putting so much effort with white hat and black hat methods, lets try the dumbest thing and see how many zeros's i get..LOL

If your website has a good internal structure, it will/should still get indexed and who knows - ranked!

What I believe is that in the huge success of wikipedia, good internal website linking was a major part, besides the massive media coverage ofcourse. I mean, I don't think google would have actually picked wikipedia by hand to have it enjoy major search positions for those profitable keywords. And yeah, I know my assumptions could be wrong.

Been thinking of doing this kind of experiment as well but not in the scale youre doing (not original content but not auto). I think I'll just watch your proggress instead.

if youre not doing adsense or cpa how are you gonna get the many zeroes you mentioned? are you strictly talking about visitors?

I never mentioned 1 or 2's behind zeros..
Let these blogs get old see how much traffic i am getting...Once i cross certain amount of traffic per day...I will start adding adsence /relevent cpa to these forums...

If i get a page rank..I will sell it if its not profitable if no one wants to buy it i will still keep it...
Thats the idea anyway...But i am not thinking about monetising them just thinking about how many keywords i can cover and how many i can build.

I was thinking about 50k in next 2-3 months..The challenge would be to get content scrapped of as many sites as possible and cover as many categories as possible the more i explore more chances i have to find a gold mine without using market samurai LOL!!!
I know thats difficult...but even if i get about $.01 per blog/day Thats a lot of $$$ Thats what i feel

Also does this "Content is not original ripped off from major websites." mean that you are just copying the stuff from existing sites?

Suppose a website has a lot of relevent stuff with words more than 500 upto 800 i get the cotent of the articles...remove any hyperlink that links back to the original website
get the page title , keyword , description and save it in a database..
Everyday i just uplaod a few...so i am updating everyday...just been weeks so i started with 1k-2k posts and continue upload daily...

Domain structure is pretty loose , find any keyword from each category adwords keyword tool get as many keywords as possible get a blog with the same name...competitve and profitable niches are mostly taken by someone -- add a 9 or prefix or suffix before them and upload thats all is being done..

Well these are not exactly autoblogs , as i am not using RSS to extract content and publish it.
Content is first saved into database and then published in blogs in a timely manner.
When the blog is created , i upoad 1k-2k pages and them 1-2 pages a day.

I am manually writing code for scrapping content from major websites So the content has no ads no urls in the extracted content except mine...so the layout is pretty clean.

I am even extracting title ,meta tags description for the pages along with the content.

PS: NO software/script of this sort is available in the market.
This is developed for my own needs.
*I am not using email address method for publishing LOL

I am using **blogger in the backend as the hosting is free and i am assuming i will not make money.



My aim is to reach a target of 100k blogs in next 6 months.Covering as many categories as many keywords as possible.

Content spinning is something which i am looking into.
But i was thinking about trying a new algorithm like markovs chain for sentence rewriting ...but i am still developing it...I think i would need to get a hold of Some US english major from some university...

From personal experience nixnash, i can say your on the right track.
Only i don't only focus on the little websites.

I have three main websites where i sell products.
For the three stores i do normal SEO.

But beside that, i'm also doing what you are doing.
I create really blend autoblogs where the ads, of one of my three stores, is the only thing you can focus your attention on.

It started out as a expiriment, basically to see how much i would generate.
It is now 75% of my income.
On all of the small blogs i have a javascript code running my ads from one central domain (kinda like google does it).
So i can change the ads with one click of a button without having change thousands of blogs.

Conveniently my keywords on the blogs automatically change to links to my sites.
So it's also one giant linkwheel.

I hope you see your little experiment is not dumb at all.
And that my story can motivate you to keep it going strong.

For now i was thinking to just add analytics to monitor.
But i will keep this in mind...

I designed a ecommerce online shopping cart ,membershp based website to help merchants sell digital and tangible products a membership based website , but didnt do well ..So i will try to drive traffic.

Right now I am concentrating on building 100k blogs in next 6 months sounds impossible to me
Challenge is to be able to get content relevent to each keyword and make site as genuine as possible.

I used to build blogs on blogger , but those mother fuckers banned my whole blog farm . I would not rely on blogger

I wouldn't add google analytics to your sites if this was what your planning.
You'll get busted for farming like Razorbl already stated.

Subdomains is a pretty easy way to get free blogs.
You can create tools to bulk create them. 100k figure is big but defintly not impossible.
