How about having "Dislike Feature" on BHW?

There should be all reactions. But there shouldn't be negative score.

Aww poor baby. Who hurt your feelings?
Nope, so far none, but I have seen few threads.
Even if anyone hurts, I have no choice other than forgiving him. Because I have been forgiven.

There are a lot of snowflakes who are going to go to your profile after a debate and downvote each and every post you've ever made. :D
It will be misused surely after seeing everyone's reactions here.

I Absolutly NOT agree, BHW is a positive community, that needs to stay positive, to much shit going on already. You need to downvote people to feel good, move to Reddit.

Lets not forget about the marketplace. Some people could hijack/manipulate a sales thread just by reacting to it in a specific way. Especially when it comes to controversial sellers.

In the end, it will just end up for even more work for the mods. Unnecessary work. Just because some kiddos wanna have an angry/sad/whatever reaction to a post, which was written by a total stranger from a different country?

Yes, this is only reason I think that option is not here.
Now I feel its good such option is not here. Few selfish and jealous people can misuse it. And can damage rep of Good person.

If there would have been a Dislike Button, I would have definately disliked THIS POST.
With Dislike, it will be War among competitor. Group dislike to a Competitor.
Same thing is happening at YouTube.

Nop, Not advisable, this is not Facebook or any other social media platform.

Mark Suckerberg said - Facebook doesn't have dislike button because we don't want to spead negativity.
I don't vote for this. If you don't like the post, why do you have to leave a remark. Just leave.

They instead added a laughing reaction so you can still mock everyone with plausible deniability. Pretty much the same exists here already.

Nice idea in my opinion. I don't think that the atmosphere will become toxic.Don't understand why some individuals compare this forum with different social networks, its illogical. There are plenty of threads with negative comments without having a dislike button.i prefer to see a thumb down instead of reading arrogance and insults(for some works without getting warnings:) ) Nevermind, imagine just pressing one dislike button instead of replying in a rude way to an ape.It will save many from warnings

Specifically dislike is demotivational. Like you are asking for some help, and someone makes fun of u n dislikes it or something.. it'd impact bad

I think if a positive review is added score, one negative dislike should happen too.

Agree with the sentiment, I have felt the same way seeing some of the posts here, but never ever do this please.

Downvotes always result in the tyranny of the majority.
Look at any forum or group. Eventually, everyone falls in line.

Right wing forums, left wing forums, religious forums, business groups - all of them ended up with a single predominant thought process. Everyone else just fell in line, because otherwise their "karma" will be gone before they know it.

Lack of downvotes is one important reason why BHW constantly has such a diverse set of ideas being expressed.

From our (members') perspective: If people have to first worry about downvotes before expressing an opinion, very soon, we will all be discussing only those ideas that the majority holds to be good.

From the forum owner's perspective, it means less engagement, and stagnancy.
