Bitcoin is disgusting: Warren Buffet

Their "at least stocks are based on a real value" argument is dead at least since GME
Best! But yeah I agree those people are too big and too much invested into the stock market they don't wanna see 'new' kid on the block..

As investors, Bitcoin is the thing we have discovered for the past 10 years

Taking a few words out of context it used to be called clickbait, I'm not sure how do you call it today.

That's how it is today, no one cares to read the damn article [I'm not talking about this one], everyone is up to "what is the worst so I can share that crap".

I agree with what he states here [it's a bit deeper than just BC]:

"I don’t welcome a currency that’s so useful to kidnappers and extortionists and so forth, nor do I like just shovelling out a few extra billions and billions of dollars to somebody who just invented a new financial product out of thin air."

This is what derivatives are and so were junk bonds in the 70s

Never remembered this forum to be this toxic... jeesh..

Hes wrong imo but so are we. Crypto will get regulated and killed and replaced with a highly centralized blockchain-based currency is my prediction. The cat is out of the bag, but it can do a lot of good.

A centralized currency like the one this will spawn could end world hunger or be a tool to gain total control, time will tell.

So you're basing argument that defines an entire industry on a single anecdote. I guess it's easier to pick a side than to think.

Just for the record, I'm a huge proponent of the GME rises middle finger to to wall street, but it can be useful to not view the world as black and white as you do.

If you say rocks fall to the ground when you drop them, you only need one to fly up to make that not true
