Do You Believe In DOGE???

1. Your money is 1 negative tweet away from Melon Susk. Just think about it.
2. If the address that holds 30% of the supply decides to sell it for profit, you're liquidated.
3. Will Doge manage to hold positions during the opposite phase of the market?
4. What is the coin built upon? And I mean, which type of emotions are mainly holding/buying/selling the coin right now? Think about the psychology of people who joined the wave. Are they greedy? Or they are "HODLING" it as they say with pure positive intentions?

Of course, you can make profit off it. Just be careful. Of course, you can "HODL" it, just come up with a little strategy, at least. That's my suggestion.

But now, let me tell you something from a perspective of somebody who is passionate about investing, about the charts, about the market and everything related to it. I know plenty of people who have made fortune off trading and making proper investments in the market. And exactly NONE of them take this whole Doge hype serious. None of those people invest in Doge, even though if we wanted to, we could make tons of profit off it just by knowing how everything works because this is our field right? Still, it's a huge no. Why? Due to the risks that don't make sense (listed above) and out of pure principles. This Doge thing doesn't change a thing in the world, there is no meaning behind it, Doge is not future because it's a meme-coin. Humor in its purest cryptocurrency form. That's it. That's why there is nothing to believe in when it comes to this thing. Absolutely.

Can a coin with no purpose last through a bear market when people are shitting themselves due to losses? That's when the real trading begins, btw. Do you think the "upper echelon" will let this whole thing slide like that for long-term? The regulations are coming sooner or later.

Anyways, best of luck to you, guys. If you want to become an investor or trader, then do it the proper way, be above your emotions, be above the greed, be above the FOMO. If you can't do that, then trading and investing is not for you.

Thank you for this detailed, thoughtful reply, it is appreciated!

1. I have also thought this, what happens if Papa Elon loves SAFEMOON next, DOGE will surely suffer
2. - 3. Deals with fundamentals, which we can all agree are not in play here at all lol
4. This is the crux of what I am interested in exploring. Are people just investing as a 'fad' because they see/hear other people making money from it? Is it a 'statement' buy, showing investing/trading purists that 'hey, we can create value in something you threw away two years ago'. I am sure its all of that and then some but I find it incredibly fascinating how this has all taken off.

Your sentiment about 'serious' investors not getting involved, regardless of how much profit is being generated also rings true. I have heard plenty of friends totally disgusted about the whole thing. Not because they 'missed the boat' or jealousy that others are profiting, its the fact that there is absolutely nothing (on a fundamental basis) that is holding it all together.

I think my biggest concern with this is similar to the one I had with $GME: new people getting in, they may have been skeptical for years but seeing so many others make money, they lose their money and that's that for crypto forever. Their negative bias will be set in stone.

Thanks again for your reply!

Doge is going to bring a premature end to this bull run IMO.
It may indeed end up being quite a slap in the face!

Yup i do.
A few years ago i got some 540 dogecoins from a faucet (freedogeco.in if i'm not mistaken), yesterday i sold those dogecoins for some 130$, very easy money out of nothing, up to this point i was not interested in crypto and i'm not really, but it was nice to have some free cash :D
Can you suggest a trading platform where I can cash out my doge coin please?

I do believe in DOGE lol. Somehow its pumped its way this high. Especially with Elon's support, I think it can hit $1 per coin

Sure, I like DOGE, but I like caravans more.

I believe there are a number of people making a fortune writing articles about doge on this very forum while not touching the crypto themselves :P

Doge is going to ruin crypto and cause all sorts of new regulations. There are no active developers for this coin, just musk wanting to make $4 billion from $1 billion!

'Ruin' is a strong word. Do you think DOGE is that interwoven into the crypto community that its eventual de-valuation will upset the entire space?? It may give the scene a black eye when its all said and done, but I think it will only ruin it for people who never were into crypto before and end up getting burned financially.

Regulations - whew! you are not kidding! They will hold this up as a prime example of how the markets can be manipulated by Tweets and Reddit (ala $GME) and look to impose even more regs on the space. If this happens it will not be a good look for the crypto space as a whole. Only thing that may save the bacon is the amount of institutional investors that have gotten into $BTC. They will have their say about any new regs for sure.

In regards to Musk, I admire him as a thinker and innovator, but all of this shilling is a little irresponsible, IMO. People will be left holding bags and as you said, he has already skipped town with his profits, lol.

Thanks for your reply

"Somehow" is the key word in that reply lol. Absolutely incredible. If it manages to hit $1 you will have a lot of people in euphoria and others in total hell, wondering why this type of effort could not be put behind a 'real' project. All of this ($GME, $DOGE, etc) will make a nice movie one day.

DOGE Day Afternoon:cool:

First, congratulations to all of those who have achieved a profit with $DOGE. I hope some of you are experiencing a windfall beyond your dreams!

With that said: Do you believe in $DOGE???

We all know the backstory by now: a meme coin with infinite supply developed just for the sake of making a cryptocurrency.

Sounds pretty innocuous on its face, but its availability on several trading apps, low barrier/cost of entry along with multiple high-profile celebrity endorsements have brought us here, $DOGE with a market cap in the tens of billions, bigger than the UK giant Barclays...

Is this the true power of community/collective economics or is $DOGE a perfect example of the 'greater fool' theory and is the ponzi scheme everyone thinks crypto is in the first place?

This seems like the type of stuff you can write a thesis on, lol. Would love to hear some thoughts. Thanks in advance for your time and input!

safemoon is way better than dogo coin

Unlimited supply, no this is bullshit. It is a pump and dump.coin

Doge had a 100% rise in price in he last 7 Days, sure it is good investment

Not really, look at the few individuals holding the majority of the tokens. Eventually they will dump it on the ignorant buyers.

People talking and shitting about Doge because its A MmEeMmE CoiINn and people have no intentions other than being greedy.. tell me then why people buy Bitcoin or Eth, is it because they love Crypto ? or bcse they r greedy and wanna make some $$.. everyone's is going after the money bruh, stop lying to urself ... i personally bought doge at 0.045 and now its 0.61, over x10+ Profits... and yes im after the money lol , but as always HOOODL bois

Regardless of how dumb or benign something is, once "people" attach value to it...... that's when it becomes valuable.
