Google recently introduced Core Web Vitals, a set of metrics that determine if your website offers good UX, and the stakes are high — if you earn good marks, you’ll get a rankings boost, on-page badges, and a chance to appear in Google’s “Top Stories” box. The algorithm update drops in May, so now’s the time to start boosting your score.

Um, no thanks! As someone who tries badly to break up with google I want to get away from it as much as I can, not continue being their slave

If this man doesn't care about it, then who are we to worry?

For BHW Google algo update spammers

So Im curious what happens to all the shitty websites without HTTPS? come May...

Couldn't believe google test on Google. Are they kidding ?

I've stopped focusing on the algo rollout dates.

Instead, I focus on my USER EXPERIENCE

Do I deliver what people are looking for?

Do I keep them on my pages?

Do I push them to visit a lot of pages on my site?

Unlikely core web vital will become a big update, its just, a small update and will not cause big SERP shuffle, yeah, may...be. Let's see!

This update mainly depends on page experience update. I think the update will improve the user focused SEO. Within this three month, we have to focus only for optimizing the page factors.

I'm pretty sure the most important factors will stay so nothing to worry about ;)

It's not like they can force this onto everyone when WordPress sites score low in general.
