[IN PROGRESS] My Journey to $3000 a month.

Goodluck. Will follow.

Gonna be hard to get this going only with PBN's.

Im sure op is building other backlinks aswell to have natural diversity.

What does nlp stands for?

Natural Language Processing

What tools do you use for NLP? Also, is there any good PBN rentals in BHW marketplace?

SurferSEO, and I've used a few in the past on other sites. Only good one I've found is from splishsplash. Rest of PBN sellers I've bought from really dont know what they are doing.

Goodluck. Will follow.

Thanks mate, I've got some guest post contacts for my niche, going to do some manual backlinking myself too for diversity. Might get some social shares for cheap.

I've diversified on past sites for testing and saw no benefit though.

I've seen no benefit on past sites from diversifying, I did press releases, social shares, profile links, guest posts, it really didnt provide that much benefit. Not sure if anyone else has seen different.

I'm not worried about being penalized either, splishsplashes PBNs are tight, low OBLs, hidden from customers, pretty decent for safety.

You are going good, Good luck for your goals @Dark Sky

Thanks mate!

Good luck, this makes me think about starting my own journey with my one and half year old site.

Do you use any plugin to show how many articles do you use or how many words? It is a plugin to show that? thanks1.png

Update:

Design.

My bounce rate has been increasing slowly, since I redesigned, traffic has dropped. Redesigned again to something more professional and neutral since demographics are 50/50 women/men with no specific age groups to target.

Content

Starting using Headlime as it really helps with writersblock. Like really helps. Gets some good quotes in as well which I CBA to find. Will be testing this to see how much it increases article production.

Keyword Research

I've currently found a good method, where I scrape 1000s of competitors, pick out the weakest ones in terms of backlinks which are getting the most traffic using ahrefs batch analysis, and ripping out their top performing keywords in terms of traffic. Limiting their keywords that are ranking positions 1-15.

I've also found a good way of doing content hubs for amazon affiliate articles whilst combining the above method to find easy to rank content hubs.

Will be doing some split testing on these to see which ones perform well.

Interesting journey... Good luck on that buddy.

I can see you keep redesign your website. Is the design is already prepared beforehand or you just change the design on the spot? Thanks.

I do, the design isn't prepared, what I do is create a staging website, dedicate the day to redesigning, and then merge the staging website to the live website once I'm happy. This allows me to compare the new to the old properly before accepting it.

I see. What's your target for each design and will it not effect the user if the wensite design keep changing?

Im sorry if my english sounds awkward or rude, they are not my first lang.

A mix between pleasing my OCD and making the average time on site better, I'm curious to see how much impact the design has on this and the bouncerates for future websites that I do.

And the users are one time users, they never return as it's specific searches they are doing in google. They only want my website for that one search and then they are done :)

And no problem at all you don't seem rude :)

Found your thread today. Following this from now. Thanks.
I am going to follow the same KW strategy for my next site.

1) How do you scrape 1000s of competitors?

I use ahrefs competing domains+ ahrefs 100 expanded SERP of keywords. It takes a lot time!

2) What is your keyword criteria/method for a brand new site(DR 0).

Also competition analysis method?

I see at least 2 domains below DR 25, which are getting a minimum of 50 traffic. Great if SERP has some user generated contents.

I do the following.

1. Put some long tail keywords into scrapebox, long tail specifically to get as many new sites as possible in the harvest.
2. Harvest domains using those longtail keywords (after trim to root / remove duplicates)
3. Once google give me 24 hour ban for scraping, I'll put domains into page authority addon, should be about 3000-5000 domains at this point as I dont use many proxies.
4. Then page authority addon grabs DA of each site from Moz API
5. Export the list of domains now you have DA on each one to excel.
6. Once in excel, sort the list from lowest DA at top to highest at bottom.
7. Put first 200 of lowest DA sites into ahrefs batch analysis
8. Find domain names with niche in their name and find low DR ones which have more than 1000 + traffic. Normally trying to find DR 0-5
9. Copy those specific domains that meet criteria into a new excel sheet
10. now you have the final list, input into ahrefs 1 by 1 and do the following
11. Get top pages up in Ahrefs, filter by position 1-15, export list and rip the parent keywords out into new excel sheet.
12. Repeat this for every site on your final list.
13. You now have 1000+ easy to rank for keywords.

Should take a few hour for the entire sites keyword research. Never have to do it again after this.

Thanks again. We can get thousands of keywords. But how do you select which keyword(s) to target first? To make a content hub in mind.
Don't you do some sort of SERP competition analysis?

Oh yeah my bad forgot that part.

Once you have exported lists from ahrefs of all keywords into an excel sheet keeping the other fields in,

KeywordURLDifficultyVolumeDomain ratingTrafficKeywordsPosition

You will have those fields that comes with the ahrefs export on the top pages section.

Easy keywords = sort by lowest DR, sort by highest traffic, sort by highest position.

This will give you low DR domains, getting lots of traffic, and in position 1. If they are in position 1 with low DR then you can be too. You should have quite a few position 1s with DR 0.

For content hubs, with the keyword list of 1000s of easy keywords, just filter the keyword to "text contains" and then write the topic such as "toys" then it will give you all the easy keywords relating to toys, in which you create a content hub around.
