I translate other language ariticles to english for thousands of articles, almost 1 year, almost no traffic, it doesn't work. Maybe I do something wrong.
Anyone did same things, are you ok with translated articles? please share you experience, thanks

I have several non-english sites with content translated from english. Copyscape says no matches.

Some of these sites ranks well will niche non-relevant and spammy backlinks.
Some of them does not ranks at all with high quality niche relevant backlinks.

In conclusion - there is most important ranking factor - Google love secret.

I have experienced it long ago. Copysacpe, quitext all says that it is unique content. Actually the content will not be good to read. Even it won't be like readable content. That is the problem I faced.

Translating and changing accordance to the meaning it is some what difficult. Better you can write it will be good than translating.

I've been translating content from my language to English; mixing a few articles into one then translating it, correcting mistakes, etc. and I rank pretty well with brand new domain. Some of the posts are on page 1 already. So yeah, it works

Which tool did you use?
A custome tool
If you copy the competitor links, its work... Trust me
Copy the competitor links? what's mean? sorry, i can't understand it

Very nice, do you change the translated article manually?

How much traffic do your ranking website bing? it is nice
How much time do you spend on such one article?

I don't believe your problem is with the translated articles (I've been doing this for years).
The problem may be with your targeting keyword research and on page SEO.

From what you have written I think your issue is you are using translated articles directly on your website.
Proofread them using grammarly/MsWord and check keyword optimization.
If the articles are indexed in G and are plagiarism free this should surely help you.

Are you picking out non-English articles RANDOMLY?

You should select based on THEME - look for themes you can correlate to lower competition keywords and translate those themed articles.

Remember: KEYWORDS (and the intent behind them) form the FOUNDATION of SEO

Screw this up and you won't get much traffic

well, if You use google translator than there you go.. - here's the problem, google will detect it. however, even copy-pasted articles ranks. and if your website it not ranking, there may be several issues on the site itself. or barely anyone looking for those keywords.

I disagree with that point you made. Yes G should be able to detect it but it doesn't.
Speaking from years of testing and experience using G translated content to build/rebuild/rank//flip websites.

Translated articles have few problems. When you translate the article from one language to another, the meaning of many sentences changes, and dues to this article do not rank most of the time as it is of no value to readers.

Translated articles works pretty well but don't translate them with google translate.

Google knows it is translated. I think Google, in backend, translates all the articles written in top 10 major languages and then keep them in its directory. Why will Google do that? To fight spam, plagiarism and translated content.

I think Google has an in hour plagiarism checker which is way more stronger than any other company in the world. Google just simply do not give its access to users.

I think Google also has system where its bots automatically rewrites the content and matches it with other contents to check if somebody has done it to fool Google.

In backend, Google is way bigger company than we think. Google may have system for each and everything.

Why not? they have money. they can develop anything. They don't bother if it cost $1B or $10B. They have system to make this much money in less than a month. Simply disable AdSense, charge advertisers more than normal and nobody will even notice it.
