But back to your reply. I find it interesting that you mention the 1800s as a time when medicine started to modernize. You do realize that before the 1800s the average life expectancy was only around 30-40 years.

Today the average life expectancy is 72 years.

A major factor in this massive improvement is modern medicine.

Things like improved sanitation practices, the washing of hands, wearing a mask to prevent the spread of bacteria and diseases as well as new vaccines.

It wasn't improved homeopathic practices. Such as advances in stick boiling and mud applications.

It was around the 1800s was when the average lifespan started to increase. A big part was advances in medicine.

Why do you fear modern science so much? It has done so much to improve the lives of so many people around the world.

Why are you so intent on regression instead of progress?

I am not a conspiracy theorist, I do not believe in lizards, chips in our bodies, bill gates controlling us, 5g chips, world control, illuminati, Rockefeller (although the last 2 are real but in a different era) or all the other crap that is out there. I believe in data and logic.

There is plenty of data coming from CDC itself regarding covid and the common flu; their rates, how they are counted, people that died having 2.6 other serious diseases on avg., etc.. Then there is data regarding the new tech in the vaccine which was actually developed many years ago but it was never deployed. Medical research on gene editing began decades ago, but accelerated only the more powerful computers got. Gene editing is the holy grail in drugs research and manufacturing. And when you deploy, you start small: vaccines first, then work your way up to other drugs.

I also don't believe in any theories that they are trying to kill us all with the vaccine. The whole covid thing is exaggerated to further agendas sure, but nobody wants Armageddon on their hands. The vaccine won't kill anyone, at least not 99.999% of people. Sure, there will be side effects, but they can be managed. So, if you are afraid of dying, don't. Also, the chances of you developing any other serious disease are extremely low, same chances you would have with the flu.

What's important is how the new tech will work. Data and feedback will be gathered from first wave of vaccinated test subjects and will be used to develop other better versions and so on.. Then at some point, few years down the road (or maybe 1-2 decades), you will have a new wave of "revolutionary" drugs hitting the markets. If I were you, I would invest in pharma stocks.

You don't have to believe me, just see for yourself and then come back here in a few years and check my comment. History has shown this same pattern in the past and 2020 is no different.
