I'm sorry, I beg to differ. Recently, I did a test on reddit d0follow links and I had absolutely no problem indexing and re-indexing those links (I used text area to create links within content).

Are you using sidebar or content backlinks ?

Make sure you don’t leave a large trace when making the links, and use a lot of accounts.
Otherwise what can happen is that they can ban any subreddits already owned by you and any new ones created. So make sure your links are actually live in the first place
Otherwise its probably due to a number of factors too long to list here

I think @Azaan answered all the questions there.
Like him, I do "Sidebar (contextual)" but what I did with my test, I had different length of content 10-400 words on the sidebar... you have to mix and match there.
I don't really pay attention to what shows up in GSC as long as the links are indexed. And in my test I overoptimised the anchor text and after some changes my reddit links were re-indexed within a few days.
PS: I used those links on a test site and thus used only 1 reddit account. I used it to comment and it was fine as my answers were relevant.
But for my real sites, i will use different accounts to cut the risks of getting banned as Azaan correctly mentioned.

Do you know what's the account requirement for creating a subreddit?
Silly question but is it OK to make it obvious?
By this I mean, should I put the name of my website, the URL, etc. Pretty much a subreddit dedicated for my Website?
Essentially a place where people can go to talk about my website, but its just me or people who come to the subreddit or if i buy/add them?

I own multiple subreddits.Some of them even with 40K-50K members.
Its ok if i use your method and add my site url in all of them?
Maybe that will have negative effect as spam?
Another question.
A have seen a lot of subreddit admins,that put their website url as a sticky post/announcement on the top of the subreddit.
Whats the difference?Its the same as sidebar?
