Dropping of Forex Markets, growing inflation worldwide, safe heaven in growing worldwide conflicts and restriction for states like north korea, iran, russia.
limited quantity does the rest. Gold 2.0, all first world countries working on there own digital currencies, what do you think will be the next goldstandard?
Betting in dropping btc market in longterm is betting on a world full of candies
21 million BTC (and many are already lost) / 7 Billion People, simple math.
For payment: What does paypal do for you as seller? Charging 1-3% of your money, for charging all your money back when they get scammed by the buyer?
Have fun by paying them for giving you no protection as seller or freezing your money for no reason.
When you get btc, they are yours for just cents.
If you know any other way then crypto to save money in your mind (by private key or seed), which cant take any authoritarian government, feel free to share.
Who is that person ? Satoshi ?I am concerned about that massive portion of BTC still out there in the hands on a single person. That person can tank the market quite easily.
I could bet you have a view from asia on it?Hi.
You said yourself, countries working for their own etc. All the facts you mentioned, advocate that governments have started a fight to regulate it, eradicate it, or replace it. If you remember, some years back, there were almost no regulations for crypto. After the "BTC-Tulip-mania" that reached it's value peak, gov and official institutions representatives came out warning people of how bad BTC is. More and more regulations are being enforced to the crypto system to abide by some rules they set. (Look what they did to FBs Libra). BTC being decentralised doesn't mean it cannot be marginalised.
So my guess is that governments mechanism are just a slow giant, they reduce it's value/ease of use/state step by step, until they assimilate it into an "official crypto system".
