Hi, I am not sure where to post this question. I thought this would be the best place to do so.
If I am wrong, Mod please move this to the right section.

Any Indians can help me with this.

How many different companies or providers are there in Chennai, India, who provide truly unlimited 4g mobile data plans.
Usage of unlimited data.
Whether it's prepaid or postpaid.

Thank you.

Jio Fibre provides unlimited data usage (3300GB to protect from abuse), which is more than enough for an individual.

there are no unlimited data plans for mobile in India as far as I know

I heard BSNL too provides truly unlimited offers.

What I have seen is that it's a strange thing, they say unlimited data plans, but limited to 50 or 75 GB per month.

Like this one, just found one now.

I don't think you will ever get "truly unlimited" high speed 4g. Atleast not in near future.

I use postpaid vodafone, and they are also capped at 60gb/month probably. If you manage to exhaust the bandwidth, you will still get internet; but the speed will be terrible.

Why do you need so much 4g data though? Just curious.

I think he is getting into proxies business

Hmm I guess so too. One single 4g ip wouldn't be of much help I think. If OP manages to get 1000s of sims (which is probably illegal in India anyway), I don't think he can exhaust the full bandwidth by himself (or by customers. If rotated correctly, not one sim should exhaust the bandwidth before their ips get banned).. but then, I don't sell proxies.. So, I am not an expert on this lol.

Yes, this is the basic idea.

Looking to get 100 sim cards at first. Is it possible in India, are the data price cheap in India?

As far as I know, you can get upto 7 sims with your AADHAR, if you are an individual. Please confirm this with a provider.
As for data rate, it's not bad. Pricing is better than a few other countries, but it's not the cheapest for sure. Neither is it the fastest (but I heard Airtel is launching 5g in a month or so. It will be interesting to see what speed people manage to get with that.).

data used to be very cheap, but the prices are increased now, although not so expensive yet

7 sims from all providers or just from one provider and I think there are only 4 providers in India.
And if we opt for a postpaid connection, how many sim cards do one person is eligible for.

Thanks your info is very helpful:)

From all providers. It's all tied to your AADHAR. People still manage to purchase 100s of sims, and I have no idea how lol (there's frequent news that someone got caught doing some illegal stuff and 100s of sims recovered from his basement lol).

it used to happen back in days when sim cards were registered using xerox copy of aadhar and passport photo, but now it's all digital its hard to get fake sim cards now

Hopefully so. I am using my current sim(s) from the last 2 years, so I am not sure what the current scenario is.

Most of the 4g plans are capped with 1 to 4 GB/day basis
At approximate $35 you will get 1 sim card with 2GB/day valid for a 365 days.

Speed mostly depends on locality and speed is not constant.

On business purpose you can get more postpaid connections. no issue in it.

Yep, you are right. I do me meant for illegal :D. A plan to execute and different sim cards are the requirements for some legal genuine task.
