amazon affiliate is still worth it ?

You will find out it's worth once you start doing it.

Due to too much competition in the market, everything got much harder. But if you got good leads, sources, skills then you can easily make living out of that.

If you're in a broader niche, You might be able to find alternative affiliate programmes that serve you better commission per sale. Use search combinations like [Most converting product name + Affiliate]

Maybe even double your monthly revenue. Who knows.

This commission will increase soon i guess.. Ecomm is least affected market compart to other business due to pandemic.

Okay, so there are pros and cons with everything. In my opinion the Amazon affiliate program now has more cons than pros.

+ The conversion rate is really high, since everyone in your target audience shops at Amazon frequently. If your articles don't convert, then maybe the clicks will convert anyway.
- The commissions rates are very low compared to other affiliate programs
- Cookie time is only 48hrs, most affiliate networks I work with has 30-45 days (!)

i never promote amazon affiliate, but based on the newest commission rate, i think its better to promote cpa

CPA is typically not physical goods. Also you have nowhere near the same amount of products on a CPA network compared to Amazon.

Absolutely! however have to be more careful about what products you sell than you did previously, as Amazon recently adjusted their payment structure. The percentage commission you get is now based on the type of product you sell.

Strongly depends on your expectaions.
ROI is lower and takes more time. But with a good amount of work, still worth it.
More time working on page conversion and try different additional techniques.

That Amazon converts (at least in US) better than any other platform or landing page. That is the reason why webmasters continue to send traffic to Amazon, even if those products can be found on Wallmart or BestBuy (also huge brands) and you can get at least 5 % commision.

Also small niche focused websites make a huge part of money not on products they promote. But when users from their affilate link buy some third party products on Amazon.

Is it worth it? Maybe. Depends on the country you live in and how much traffic you're able to generate.
Would I put all my eggs into one basket? Hell no.

Hi. I don't really happy with it. I hardly did any money here. If you are in the U.S you might have better chance to make some money

Yes and no.
Yes because the competition is bad, doesn't really care about affiliates and has poor conversion rates compared to Amazon which has high conversion rates.

No because it becomes more risky, the ROI was cut in half last year and you have no clue about the future due to the monopolistic nature of Amazon those days. They can put your business at zero at anytime.

I keep using it after testing alternatives which were diappointments. And nothing beats Amazon as a general ecommerce.
But I wouldn't put most of my business on it. It is already painful to be too dependent on Google. You don't want to add another GAFA in the equation.
It is good to diversify whith more niche products, non material products and ads.

It's still worth it because there are so many "best XXX" keywords out there with low to no competition PLUS Amazon is the biggest shopping platform in many markets so that 1 day cookie can lead to quite a bit of sales.
