Many of you guys might be dreaming of starting earning money from the internet, so I will show you how to use your Gmail account to promote affiliate links and to earn money. The secret behind this method is that Gmail has a very nice feature called autoresponder. Using this feature, we can send prewritten emails to those who send an email to us. The same function can be used to make some extra dollars while sleeping.
Now follow my exact method.
Step 1: Create a new Gmail account entirely dedicated to doing the purpose of an autoresponder. Give a relevant name to the email. For example, if you want to make money through affiliate marketing and your affiliate product is about blogging tips, make sure to give the email a name like [email protected] - this will enhance the credibility - you just need to find an account name that is still available.
Step 2: Go to your affiliate marketplace of your choice like ClickBank, JvZoo, Commission Junction, WarriorPlus or any other. Grab the link to the product that you want to promote. For many products, the vendors are also offering pre-written email templates you will be free to use to promote. You can use the their product as an affiliate. If you do not find this, you need to write your own email. You can also use free email templates, just check Google. Just don't forget to add your own affiliate links to it!
Steps to configure the autoresponder in Gmail:
Type your subject headline and copy the test email to the message box. Insert your affiliate link to the test email.
You can also shorten the affiliate URL using bit.ly to make it more user-friendly. You can also use images relevant to the affiliate product you are promoting. Click on the "Save Changes" button. Now your autoresponder is ready!
Step 3: Making people send emails to you.
It is the central and most interesting part of the whole process.
If anyone sends a mail with the given id, they will get an auto response email about the affiliate product you are promoting, and you will get a commission if they buy it. They are more likely to buy, because they made the initial step to contact you, which means that they are interested in the product, so if your response email is well written, they should go ahead and buy the product you are promoting.
So in this way you can make a reasonable amount of affiliate commissions without any initial investment (you might be aware that most of the email autoresponder services available right now are usually quite expensive).
